Would have been so much better if your instrument was in tune!
Sounds out of tune to me.....

I’ve been learning to play this beautiful piece of music. Thank you for posting the notes! I find the cord transitions in bars, 19 and 20 pretty difficult but I’m getting there! My hands know the notes now.
Thank you for your words and struggle. I appreciate that truly.

@@shayanardo I learned that from cello players…
That's a vihuela
@@elonmusk666 actually it’s not although it looks very similar. it is so cold romantic guitar or also Viennese guitar which was a type of guitar that prevailed during 18th and 19th century. The tuning is standard but proportions are rather different.
Lovely. Thank you.

I listened with great pleasure. I also really liked the sound and visual of the old guitar. Best of luck!
@@DavidNazrishvili thank you very much!
Well, you may not be a classical musician, but you surely are a dedicated musician and a sensitive artist. Despite the extremely delicate voice of the instrument you played, you managed to be quite expressive with the very gentle output of that guitar.
@@andychase7693 thank you very much for your kind words. I truly appreciate that.
What is the nut width on this guitar? Looks narrower than a typical classical guitar
@@jaywalker512 it is indeed. As soon as I’m home, I will measure it. I’ve already done it but cannot recall the exact measure. It is rather difficult for me to get used to it since my modern that I have been playing for more than 25 years guitar is quite a broad one.
I’ve just measured that. It is really narrow. It takes time to get used to that. The nut width between E1 and E6 is only about 35mm while the bridge width between the same strings is about 60mm, the length from the bridge to the nut being slightly less than 610mm.
@@unwrought9757 Wow, that is as narrow as my narrowest steel string guitar! You play it very well though, thank you for the answer!
@@jaywalker512 you’re welcome, sir
@@jaywalker512 my beloved Vilaplana, the modern guitar I have been playing all my conscious life, is more than 10mm broader.
That was beautiful, especially the harmonics at the end! I love the instrument too... such a beautiful tone! What kind of guitar is that? It looks like a fairly old German style classical guitar, but I know next to nothing about non-Spanish guitars.
@@eugeneross6624 thank you very much! You guessed right in fact it is a really old German or Czech guitar, built around 1830’s. Its tone really is very sweet and beautiful, every time I put this instrument out from its case it is a wonder to me.
Very nice. I'm impressed with your arrangement and playing. And that guitar! I'd love to have one like it. By the way, I've found that a strap is a good idea for classical guitar support, and I would like to see it catch on more.
@@josephking5411 indeed, I found this type of guitar too tiny to be handled normally so that I realised the strap button wasn’t there for nothing, it really helps.
Lovely

I'm happy to see you've posted again! I think this piece perfectly embodies its title and it fits your guitar perfectly. Oh, and as always, great playing from you!
Thank you very much. I haven’t had time for anything during the last weeks and I moreover realised that I wrote a minuet basically in all the keys and thus ran out of ideas. So now I must wait for another one to come.
