The Union Hotel, Benicia Ca - Eventful Paranormal Investigation
Просмотров 2 тыс.4 года назад
#Paranormal #GhostHunting #UnionHotel We finally got out to do another paranormal investigation. This time at The Union Hotel in Benicia, Ca. I was surprised by how active this location was for us. A fun fact: The Ghost Adventures team arrived to investigate the hotel the day after we left. I have been sitting on this investigation for a year (because life), so my apologies for the delay. B340 - Paranormal Investigation aboard the Queen Mary
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.6 лет назад
#Paranormal #GhostHunting #QueenMary Evidence begins at 3:00 We appear to have experienced some paranormal activity aboard the Queen Mary while staying at the most haunted room at the hotel, B340. The Queen Mary, one of the most haunted places in america, now operates as a hotel and one of the most haunted sites on the ship is room B340. It was so haunted, or the guests experienced so many thin...
Smell could be the mattresses or the flooring. They should not have carpet. All should be replaced. Could be somebody also died in that room.
Thank you so much! I do better with videos than the written instructions. Luckily I had more room to work with than you did. Your video was perfect! My friends have had a smart bidet for 6 or 7 years and it still works great. I love theirs so finally got my own. :)
I saw a leak, but I could be wrong
Bought a replacement remote for this -- but can't seem to pair it. Anyone know how?
i m wodering is any problem with warm water for washing? Or is it cold?
When you said every time you got to the stage of unconsciousness, every time you were about to fall asleep, an unsettling or unsafe feeling kept waking you back up… I giggled while thinking, it’s possible not all ghosts are benevolent or evil. But if it’s just some ghost messin w/ you & keeps waking you up while laughing. Especially w/ your reaction being annoyed, rather than genuinely afraid. I don’t know, it would be funny if that was the actual case. What if some ghosts are just assholes.
should use a crescent wrench
I read that there were like 40 people who had to be quarantined there in the early 1900s during a smallpox outbreak in town (infected person stayed at hotel). Don’t know if that’s true or not, but after visiting I believe those smells you’re describing could be the sick. I feel like it explains another layer of the heavy energy there; not just the death on the third floor that’s always mentioned. Great vid!
Thumbs up from me.?
You forgot to do the review. Just installation instructions.
Thanks for your informative video. I started with the instructions, but needed more detail. Got just what I needed following your video. I’m a girl, so I read the directions first 😊 I didn't set the clock but it took about an hour. Glad I got the extension cord 👍 Happy!!
They didn't replace the look of the inside of the ship , i like that
Thank you for posting this. 2022 everything is metal.
oh also the st. george hotel in volcano, ca near jackson pretty much any third floor room or hell's delight on the 2nd flr
if you want a scary active hotel try the Georgetown Hotel in Georgetown, CA room 5 Mernas /Georges room or 1 which had evil spirits. I caught spirits growling and one said i was threatening a demon. Hotel Leger room 3,6,2 and the dungeon basement, fallon hotel room 1, miners cabin virginia city gold hill hotel, irwin st. inn in hanford, ryde hotel room 212 or 201 or 307? but dont tell them you are ghost hunting, amador city,ca's hotel im drawing a blank on the name of...room 1 or 6? i think 6or4 ask staff
the voice sounded like, come here Sampson ? great video. what room did you stay in? I recently stayed there in the wild peony room. the staff said the victoriana is more haunted
Thanks for the video words of advice. Use a proper wrench not a “clamp” (standard slip joint pliers in the video) Biggest helpful hint is after you turn off the water valve flush the toilet to drain a lot of the water. You were worried about gloves for the water line but not the bacteria filled hardware securing the original seat.
Awesome
Oh my god wow
Way more convincing than the Ghost Adventures episode of this hotel. I live here in town, the restaurant downstairs is fantastic. The owner Gabby says that the place truly is haunted!
Thank You, Forgot if I mentioned this in the video, we were there the weekend before Ghost Adventures. We have family there and they told us they were there the next day. I also saw the episode and was disappointed given what we experienced. I want to go back with more equipment and I hope you get to experience something for yourself
@@faultythinking6443 my friend Ryan who's a psychic/medium booked a room apparently the same one GA booked last night 02/16/22
i agree, it is haunted but GA made it like there were demons and nothing evil came through when i was there...although the spirits werent exactly friendly either but harmless.
are you guys local? ive been trying to find other local bay area ghost hunters to go on investigations with. i got tons of gear.
Local is relative, we could be in the area without much heads up.
@@faultythinking6443 like east bay area same area as benecia
i'm in modesto but go all over nor cal and nevada, i investigate the foothills and virginia city along with my home more than anywhere else but am looking for new locations. The Union was a bit of a paranormal let down but it didnt help I had phone/tablet/wifi issues so didnt capture much but the spirits also had trouble talking on my portal box and made it clear they didnt want me there but nothing evil like GA portrayed.
@@modestoca25 Virginia city is amazing. I’m in concord area I got a list of Bay Area locations I still need to go do
@@ThatLifeSupply Have you been on the Hornet in Alameda or Meek Mansion?
The t fitting attaches to the toliet you literally are doing what they tell you not to in the instructions if you actually followed them...
Awesome Video. I Liked and subscribed.
Why would you change out the fitting at the source? Why not take supply line off at the toilet and install the T fitting? (After turning off water of course.) Forget that question Faulty Thinking.
After doing a couple of these, the best way if you are comfortable is to swap the inlet connector on the copper line with one that has both connectors. That will give you the cleanest install but takes slightly more skill and cost ($20 fitting). All the bidets I've installed since all come with the little t-adapter and they have worked fine. Thanks for the comment

Before we moved to Benicia we stayed here, not knowing of the history. I didn’t sleep much that night as I listened to some what I believed was a rude person moving the furniture around upstairs, only to learn when I awoke we were on the top floor and later learned of the history. Since then, we have stayed two more times - thought there was an earthquake only to find the bed I was sitting on was moving and the last time we stayed I was sitting on the bed again and felt and saw the mattress slightly weigh down nearby as if something small had sit nearby. We also smelled what we thought was garbage or organic matter and thought it was something outside. This lovely city has a lot of activity, especially near the arsenal and water where we moved. Really liked your clip on what you experienced- it was informational. Hope you continue to report your findings
Wow, thank you for sharing. Would you know what rooms you stayed in?We will definitely be going back and would'nt mind requesting specific rooms. The garbage smell you mentioned must be the same smell we smelled. I assume you were not alone during both stays? Quite an active place in a lovely city .
Sea Lavender with hearing wood furniture moving and the bed weighing down and beach primrose the bed was moving or shaking like an earthquake while my Other half was on the couch and only saw my bed moving - he said he did not feel like anything was shaking the floor such as an improperly loaded washing machine on spin cycle that could have been on the other side of the wall etc (we checked bc we were trying to figure out what caused it)
FYI - the smell was outside around the building and we chalked it up to a dumpster but could not find one or the source
@@christinah128 thank you for the room information. We will look to investigate those rooms and report back if we document anything
what room did you stay in?
I’m doing a replacement, I have a COCO that’s old and physically broken so I need to replace it. It’s good to know you can attach the T connector down there because that’s where mine is, it looks to me like all I’m going to have to do is hook up the water supply to the bidet .
Thanks for the comment and good luck. I've been meaning to install a new bidet and because of an unrelated reason I'm going to have to change the inlet water line. I originally thought oh man I'm going to have to get a plumber but it's a very easy change.
Thanks for the video! Do you have any updates?
Hope you are well. Still all good. Actually moved and brought them with me and re-installed them. I've bought a different brand one and although great as well just not as good as this one
GrandTourDuo thanks appreciate the response. Hope you are well too!

Thanks for the comment. I investigated another place over a year ago and got some other footage. I have been so busy but I really have to post that video.
How long does a hot water last? Does it run out if you keep running it?
what's the electrical wire/plug do you recommend please
Since it's in your bathroom. It hould be a GFCI plug (preferably grounded but older houses may not have a ground wire). The unit will also advise in the instructions. I am plugged into an ungrounded GFCI.
Great tutorial! Doesn't look like I need to hire an electrician, WOOO HOOO!
Plumber. You would hire a plumber not sn electrician
@@ruthven78 k The plumber I hired was also an electrician.
Right?! I'm so excited I dont need to hire a landscaper! 🙌
how do you plug it in to get the dryer to work?
Has a standard wall plug like any other device. No special connection needed.
Glad I ordered the recommended extension cord. Needed an extra 2 feet 😊
Don’t think I would want one that plugs in. Power and water don’t mix and that would be a bad way to go! Lol
ignorant
Bidets obviously use electricity. How much are you actually saving per year by having this device? I've never used a bidet nor have ever seen one in person. I would think just using the dryer mode would run up the electric bill especially with more than one person in the household.
It's a decision everyone has to make. If you have solar and battery backup it's not an issue. If you don't ...monitor the change in billing . I would say at the moment I'm sitting happy that I have it and don't need tp for the current emergency
Thanks for comment
It’s not always about money. I am having a knee replacement soon. This unit will provide care I can’t do for myself…… am trying to have to avoid asking for help 😊

@@faultythinking6443 hey man its a tough world filled with greedy people, enjoy your day dude
Water lines with compression fittings don't need teflon tape. And in some pvc fittings will make it leak. Just a little fyi for you're diy. Use teflon tape the right way and this was not it. Watchers beware.
Appreciate the comment but they are not compression connectors. All are threaded connectors from water line to Tee's to the Bidet. Thank you though for the general advice for compression connectors .
@@faultythinking6443 This from a guy who calls a pair of pliers, a clamp.
@@lordmerren9094 Technically they do clamp.
@@lordmerren9094 yah no time to reshoot it or dub it . The toll pictured. At least it wasn't a hammer .
@@faultythinking6443 homie a supply line to a toilet has a little o-ring in it, it's a compression connection. Don't tape those, you'll get leaks.
yeah idk if i have a new model or what but yeah my sb 1000 doesnt have those screws that you put on that sliding shit
Does the toilet tank need to be drained of water when installing the hose to it?
That is a good question. I did not have to drain it. Just turned off the water and flushed to lower the water level in the tank. If you take the toilet tank cover off to look at the workings (pump and drain/plunger). Flush the toilet and see where the water is being filled from . Chances are that the water is coming near the top of the tank so all you have to do is shut off the water and flush the toilet and the water level will be below where the water is coming in from. Let me know if that helps

Does it require an electrical outlet for heating the water?
Yes it does . GFCI outlet . The heated seat and water are a nice feature. Especially this winter they are my favorite feature
We had to run a extension cord behind the sink for one bathroom. I since moved and have this issue now . The plan is to put an outlet in using the nearby light switch close toilet for 120V. We shall see how that goes.
Thx for the tutorial. We'll give it a go.
This was amazing! Wow...thank you for uploading. We just toured the ship a few days ago and saw paranormal activity first hand. We also caught vid and pics of intelligent orbs. Went in expecting nothing and came out changed for life.
Glad to hear you had an experience as well. We have been planning a follow up trip this year. This was our first experience with the unexplained and in a "haunted" environment. I'm personally very skeptical and explained away a lot of things we saw or heard but when you are looking at something that is hard to explain (like the bag moving) you take notice and stays with you. What we experienced didn't even happen at night, it happened in the middle of the day after dinner and its hard to really see in our video as it was shot with my cell phone but it didn't just move fluidly it also would move as though being pulled at times and lasted for so long. The experience was surreal and I was fortunate to also have my wife and sister see it with me. I spent a lot of time reading about possible causes for that bag moving (tidal tables in the event the boat was unbalanced or moving, reading quantum physics, etc) and I have not found anything that explains why that bag moved and probably never will. I can't say its paranormal just unexplained and that is where the excitement is ...the "why". Take care and feel free to share your pictures or paranormal captures.
Thanks for the mini review... This seems to have all of the features that the Brondell and Biobidet units have at more than 50% less cost. How's it holding up?
Thanks for watching. It has held up really well actually. The toilet actually had to be replaced so I took the unit apart about a week ago and reinstalled it on a new toilet. No problems still. The heated seats in the winter is probably my favorite feature. We do not purchase as much toilet paper as we used to so if it lasts about 2 years it should start saving us money.
