Bought it when it was PS, and now there's been multiple chapters with new maps, the Pacific is coming, AND they're working on migrating the game from UE 4 to UE 5 🥳🎉 IMHO, I've never once regretted getting this game 💯 I could play this game all the time, especially now with the Pacific. My only regret is there's not more hours in a day to play it more 😭🤙

I like the battle of tunis and the Enfidaville Line kasserine pass should be interesting it's America's first major battle with the Germans which of course the US loses war virgin m3 Stuarts against the already war veteran's of panzer 4 G tanks I'm hoping the south campaign bring in crusader tanks for the brits

Battle of Tunis was really fun and I liked the Tebourba Raid mission. Definitely would love more of the Americans since there aren't many good games with the Americans in the desert. You been playing Easy Red 2 long?

@@ghillieghostgaming mostly because the Americans where mostly around the south tunisia like kasserine so definitely be getting more attention in the south map this campaign is very diverse with its armies you got the Americans, British, French, New Zealand, Italian's and Germans

Cheers buddy, to be honest he had a conversation with me back in the 90s, we'd only been reunited with him a number of years as all of his 13 siblings including my mum were in care. He was a baby at the time so got adopted. So he used to stop by when on leave, tell me stuff, give me army issue stuff, stay with us a few days and then back out. Anyway, last conversation went something like this. He said, sorry about this but I won't be able to come back again most probably. Obviously I was very confused and upset, he told me he was either joining the sas or becoming some kind of private military, both meant he'd have to cut ties with us. True to his word he's never been back since. I only hope he's happily retired by now. I've tried to locate him a few times, once through an MP friend of mine, which drew a blank and there's no trace on social media. Anyway, there's the short version, hope that clears that up. First time as a gunner in a BMP in Arma Reforger 🤣 When you've been gaming for over 20 years, there's a million versions of bullet drop and most aren't anywhere near as accurate as the real deal 💯

If you go into the menu settings you should find the video option and that's where you can find the resolution option. I'll double check when I'm done editing for the day to be sure

Didn't forget about you, just doing a beast of a project to make sure my Halloween special is ready in time. I'll test that in the morning for you and see if that's the exact steps needed to change your resolution 💯🙂

I love HLL, don't get me wrong. I played it so much with a group that I haven't played it much in a while now (may revisit it again soon), but this one gives me those same vibes without having to hear a million blueberries talking or failing for hours long matches. Not to mention it is really fun to play if you don't have a lot of time to do long matches. I'd definitely recommend the DLCs though. Can't beat the Normandy DLC imo. It has its moments sometimes where you'll start it up and kind of feel it looks cheap and you underestimate it, but the second you start playing I don't want to turn it off 💯 P.S. I haven't had rubber banding in this game yet, but this game doesn't have Erika. Had to mention that in case that's a deal breaker 😂🫡

I've been looking into that a bit today and I'll get back to you soon when I have a more definitive answer. It's a mix somewhat on if it can be made better, but the lagging for the Xbox One right now seems to be fairly common. I'll let you know as soon as I find out more. Only thing I know so far is to go into settings and adjust the graphics/video settings to performance over quality.

Didn't forget about you. I found a good site that had a good setup for specs, but it won't be perfect. I think since it's a smaller company (Corvo Studios) they are still going to make a more hardware intensive game until it grows more. Not as great of news for Xbox One gamers, but I'll send that link if I can find it for you tomorrow and let me know if it helps 💯👍🙏

I just bought it a few days ago. I don't care about multiplayer servers because I've found online multiplayer in other games to be so toxic that I don't think I'll be trying it again anytime soon. The main reason I bought this game is the fact that it plays really well offline with bots! I'm having a ton of fun with the boys and honestly don't mind at all about missing out on multiplayer.

That's something I personally love about it too. It brings back that old school MOH:Frontline vibes when it first came out. If I feel up to multiplayer I'll play HLL or Squad 44, but to just play a game and have fun this one definitely is awesome for that. Did you try any of the DLCs or just the base game so far? I got all of them but Normandy and Stalingrad have both become my favorites personally

@@ghillieghostgaming I went ahead and got all of the DLC. I figured that since it's a single developer, I wanted to support them financially as much as possible (seriously, how did a single person make all of this???). I also have a personal connection to the Normandy campaign as my grandfather was part of the assault force on Omaha Beach on D-Day, so I wanted to experience it in this game, which made the Normandy DLC a must-buy. I've got to say that the atmosphere of the Omaha mission was pretty amazing and gave me some serious Saving Private Ryan vibes. Really well done!

That's actually really cool to have a family member that served and was at D-Day. Granted, also sad they had to witness a battle at all (especially bigger battles like D-Day). I've really enjoyed the Normandy DLC and I would say Stalingrad is my second favorite. I'm excited to see the new changes that have come from the new updates Marco has put out recently. He's really active on Discord too which I give him a lot of credit for with all he plans to do with ER2.

I'll check in on it this week off and on and see if there's maybe just a lull this weekend. It was holding fairly steady numbers last I had played. I'll let you know what I find. Getting kicked is disappointing to hear about too. I hadn't experienced that at all to date. If the player base isn't there I'll have to consider making a new video to warn people away from it, but I'm hopeful it's not dead. It's still in its growth phase so I still believe the numbers will grow, but we'll see what time shows. Don't want people buying a game that doesn't survive. I'd make a server sometime if you'd be interested?

I know so many gamers are disappointed in EA, Activision, etc. lately, and I hope I can help get the numbers into this game. I see a lot of potential in it, but if people don't feel it's worth supporting then time will tell. @@ghillieghostgaming Oh well it seems thats how it is nowadays, indie multiplayer games don't last that long. Most are stuck in early access for too long and devs just abandon their projects. I understand that it's for good reasons. Almost not being paid for the work you do almost 7 days a week on your free time is not viable.

I'm actually curious with you saying that, because they were putting out updates almost every month. Just a deep dive to do for the other video. I'll honestly feel bad that the player base dwindled and I've been so caught up in the new video I'm releasing soon, and so much other stuff that I hadn't noticed. I know how much it sucks to buy a game and that "wave" is gone 💯🤦‍♂️ Hopefully it'll come back in the future 🤞

@@ghillieghostgaming yeah when you're in a tank or artillery in the tutorial(vehicle training) and if I remember right also in the bazooka tutorial there's like a stat that show the penetration meter, distance, and intuitive red/green to let you know the most effective part to shoot But for some reason there's no indicator like that in the normal mission I'm in pc,

To Change Ammo Types (Armor Piercing, etc.) Xbox INFANTRY: You can call in Armor Piercing High Explosive arty if you are the squad leader (and you still have a living radio man in your squad) by selecting it in the menu. Hold LB, use the right thumb stick to select it, and let go of LB and it'll call it in. ARTILLERY GUNS: To change to AP ammo in artillery guns, you hit Y and then hit your right trigger to select the new ammo type. TANKS: You have to be in the Gunner's seat (hit the left or right arrow until you see you've selected the target icon in the top right of the screen). Then you hit Y and then hit the right trigger to select the new ammo type. PC: INFANTRY: You have to be the squad leader (and have a living radio man). Hold Tab button, move mouse over APHE, and release Tab. ARTILLERY GUNS: To change to the AP rounds in an artillery gun you have to hit the down arrow (while in the gunner seat), select the ammo type you want, and hit R to reload the new ammo. TANKS: To pick the ammo type you want you have to first be in the gunner seat and hit the up or down arrow and select the ammo type you want. Then you have to hit the R key to reload the new ammo type. Hope that helps, and if it's PC just let me know and I'll test it on the PC version 🙂👍

That's actually something I hadn't thought of. So it doesn't work on the steam deck at all? How many games overall have you had issues working with the steam deck? I've thought about getting one for a while but haven't been sure since not every game works with it.

@ghillieghostgaming A lot of games work, but some key games don't. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad I got one. Just a sprinkle of disappointment here & there. Overall very happy with it

I'd love to be able to take steam anywhere. I wonder if anyone else has a steam deck and can comment if they've had the same problem? The plus side though is it's easy to reach out to the devs. They actually care about fixing issues for the gamers, and update it regularly. Try reaching out to them and let me know if they get back to you. I want to see how they do with helping with an issue 👍

In it's defense, I believe these recordings were made when I was still using a single PC recording style. I've recently purchased an Elgato capture card so I could get better quality videos for everybody. It actually does run pretty smoothly though, and the devs are always giving it frequent updates to always make it better so it'll get even better 🥳

I played a PvP online match with my buddy and the pile up on the beach was absolutely ridiculous 🤣🤣

I love the game so much I bought it for both PC and Xbox, but I play the PC version more since I have all the DLCs. The DLCs are what take the game to a whole new level in my mind.

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing 😮‍💨 Had such high hopes thinking they were going back to the World War 2 games more but disappointed as always sadly.

Played MW3 free for a few days lately and the zombies DMZ has been a shit ton of fun with my friends. Just wish they had more than one map for it though (just for some variety). The rest felt the same. Black Ops 6 day one release on game pass though. Glad I don't have to buy that one

What part did you like best in Normandy or Ardennes? Normandy won me over because it felt like matches of Squad 44 but with bots. I liked Ardennes for showing the fights before the US even joined.

Personally, Ardennes was fun in my mind, but Stalingrad had more urban chaos while Ardennes has more countryside battles. If you like up close combat, I'd definitely recommend Stalingrad.

Get the bundle on sale. Saves a lot of money and you get so much more variety which helps round the game out imo. Love gaming but never hurts to save some money doing it when you can 💯

Such a bummer, why allow a mouse and keyboard only to restrict the chat feature? Definitely something worth noting to the devs for sure. I have a few notes myself I'd like to mention too starting with making it easier to join the squad of a friend who is cross platform. Hard to do, but a long-term goal I'd like to see personally. I think having that feature is the future of gaming

That's true if you're playing against bots, but I've still been able to sneak up on them as long as I used cover, concealment, and the terrain to my advantage. The hedgerows for Normandy worked amazing for me to flank, but the open fields got a little sketchy. I'll have to experiment more because I can't tell if it's surprise or if they're programmed not to shoot right away.

Yes it does... flanking as a real world infantry tactic doesn't depend on the enemy not seeing the flankers. It depends on fire superiority and forcing the enemy to try and defend two directions at once.

I did try that with the Normandy DLC and it does make it a hell of a lot more immersive. It's a little chaotic without the locations on though. Never know where to go next 😂 I'm looking forward to trying the Afghanistan mod soon. Have you tried that one yet?
