Which varieties are these?
Here in the NYC area i have my first D W in a hanging basket. I don't know if this is a problem, but we are having a very wet Spring...rain or showrs almost daily. Wouldn't too much watering kill this plant? I have to check the weather and bring it indoors so to avoid too much watering., but that is an inconvience...what say you? am i fussy or right? You say it loves the sun ...i get 5-6 hours of south son in front yard...would it survive under those conditions? Thank you for any info.
Can I plant them in my window boxes? I have 24” boxes. Would you suggest 2 or 3 five inch pots in them?
Sorry for the delayed response. WoW! I'm so happy people are seeing our videos from 4 years ago! So to answer your question. SunPatiens will get too big for a window box. You could plant them in a window box, but woulld need to water them ALOT! There is not enough space in a window box for a SunPatiens roots! I would suggest using regular New Guinea Impatiens for a window box. Stop by if you are in our area. We have 'em in stock!
@@GardenShopWOW Uh oh! I went ahead and planted them before I saw this. I ended up putting 3 in each box. I used the SunPatiens because I get a lot of full time sun on the boxes. Ugh I hope they work! I will keep you posted!
These have taken over my garden. Very beautiful but very invasive. How and when do i cut back? Also how to propogate/divide these?

Hey Lyrehc Cespejo! Sorry for the late response. We do not have any osteospermum just now. We generally have them during spring and summer as they are annuals. Can I interest you in mums? Great fall plant, super colorful and will take you right to a hard frost. Just now we have them on sale: 9" pots, 4 for $20! Stop in and check 'em out! 252 Summer St Plymouth Mas 02360

I have this exact purple Osteospermum plant! I just took cuttings and rooted them fairly easily. If I get any seeds from it I will let you know
OsteosperMum!! Yes! You have to say SPERM to pronounce this plant's name correctly...
