May they all be one: the vocation of Lambert Beauduin and Chevetogne. Part Two
The profound conviction that all Christians are invisibly bound together by their Baptism in the Risen Christ drove Dom Lambert Beauduin to embark upon the adventure of ecumenism, and in 1925 to found the Benedictine "monastery of unity", which subsequently became the monastery of Chevetogne in Belgium. It pioneered the way we still talk about ecumenism, and its sustained work to this day is only due to the stubborn determination of this man and his followers, convinced of the enrichment and benefit offered to Christianity by this unique experiment. A single monastic community, worshipping in the rite and tradition of both the Latin West and the Byzantine East, with nearly a century of en...

Nogmaals een truuk van Rome zoals deze andere in Taize. Wachten op Godot ! Zelfs de koorzang is een slapstick weergave van wat de Orthodoxe muziek en zijn oktavisten is.

Matter and time. Key point for this study. I think the temple is most important to earthly worship and an example of the heavenly worship. On earth as in heaven. So important. Numbers is still very tied to it.

The chances that the Orthodox churches (who can't even agree on getting together for a council or which calendar to use) will ever agree to unity with Rome after 1000 years, especially considering the chaotic clownshow it has become under Bergoglio, are ZERO.

hopelessly superficial documentary where the word TRUTH never once mentioned or the word UNCHANGING/CAN TRUTH CHANGE?ecumenism is change that was introduced by the church of our time/ie vatican ii/ 1962-5/and which was unknown before vatican ii by CHURCH OF ALL TIME ie pre vatican ii/ your referring to this man who you do not consider a saint /dom lambert beauduin the modernist makes clear your goal is modernist humanism and a man made religion

lots of effort to conclude that 2000 years ago people, desperate for meaning in a confusing world, people who had almost no understanding of the natural world, fearing imminent death almost every day, clung to a fantasy about a young virgin girl had a baby who would defeat their enemies ... of course this is all fantasy for ancient people - you cant fault them. but there are peasant minds that still believe this garbage today. and tear the world apart for it. what a waste

Remedy that cures divisions - see text bellow - The Gospel according to Luke: 24 A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. 25 Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. 26 But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. 27 For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. 28 You are those who have stood by me in my trials. 29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

She needs to update her information there is no archeological evidence for 2 to 3 million people living in the Sini Desert for 40 years there should have been millions of broken pots and cups not to mention tons of animal bones and the massive waste from the animals and the people. Nothing has been found other than the remains of caravan rest spots. Also since we can see the old trade routes from satellite photos millions of people and their livestock should have made trails still seen in the landscape. From excavations in Egypt we know that the building was done by skilled workers who lived well and often had elaborate burials. it is estimated that the removal of 2 million people from Egypt would have resulted in severe economic problems since this would have been about ten percent of the population vanishing. Exodus is a folk myth used by the priestly elites to show the Israelites were special rather than a separate group of Canaanites that chose to separate themselves from their neighbors. There was no conquest since many conquered cities show no destruction layer at the time claimed and some were ruins from hundreds of years earlier that the date of the conquest.

Woman, you are amazing! I can see why a commenter would ask if you are LDS (a Mormon). Most Mormons, however, are clueless about their own temple typology, symbolism, and rituals. And, the church leadership makes no effort to correct that deficiency. Your comment about angelic counterparts to earthlings is very Swedenborgian. I believe that it extends beyond angelic to earthly counterparts and is manifested as what Swedenborgians term correspondences. Thank you so much for sharing this!

I suppose one of the main reasons are that the church is trying to establish as the highest priority for members, Faith Hope and Charity as the way to live in preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

I appreciate how difficult it is to find visuals to accompany an hour-long talk when all you have is the audio. But rather than seeing the same 6-8 pictures in rotation, it would have been very helpful to see the images Fr. Rear discusses. Nevertheless, this is a valuable talk, and I'm glad to have access to it.
