Suppressing PSA Krink, AK-102, JAKL, AR-15, and ARV!!!
Today we tested a SilencerCo Hybrid 46 and an Aero Precision Lahar-30K on several Palmetto State Armory firearms. We demonstrated the difference a suppressor can make when shooting each.

#palmettostatearmory #PA-15 #AR-15 A quick look at my own SHTF AR-15 build made primarily with PSA parts. This was the same rifle briefly seen in the previous video of the PSA AK-101. PSA AK-101: Quick Look
Просмотров 11 тыс.Год назад
#palmettostatearmory #AK-101 #AK47 Today we take a quick look at a PSA AK-101 barrelled receiver we completed in our shop. All rifle components, except the magazine, are from Palmetto State Armory. We tested general firing and accuracy on a private ranch in South Texas. We also fired a few shots from a PSA AR-15. We apologize for the excessive wind noise. Special thanks to the Doctor (you know ...
Derric man, thanks for the link. I'm going to binge watch all your videos probably this weekend. 👍
What a kick ass video. I want to eventually pick up a krank! Subbed!
Thanks man!
EPIC! Do you recommend a Krink as a good starter gun?
I would recommend the 102 first if you want a short barreled 556 AK. The Krink is just way way to short for normal useage. The Krink is going to be a lot louder, shoot giant fireballs, and get less performance out of the ammo. The 102 will perform better and even suppress better while being less damaging to the suppressor.
@@Fauxknight Agree 100%. The 102 really is a much better firearm than the Krink. However, I would not recommend either one as a "starter gun". Find yourself a good 10/22, some eye and ear pro and a range with experienced shooters willing to teach you the basics of firearms and safety first. You gotta crawl before you walk.
@@DiamondbackArmoryLLC No argument there. For a starter-starter rifle a 10/22 is the absolute optimum choice.
This is such an informative video! Thanks so much for making it! I look forward to completing my LTC course soon!
Thank you. Just completed a course earlier today where I had a former law enforcement student with bad ammo put on a masterful display of the tap, rack and bang procedure. It was impressive as that person still managed a perfect score despite repeated failures to fire.
Too much wind
if you were sent to war, what weapon would you take AK 101 or HK 416 thank you
The Ak sights would’ve probably done better if you zeroed them, genius
The issue was not the sights, the issue is my eyes. I am extremely far sighted. But thanks for the comment.
Waiting for more reviews before maybe buying.
I really like UTG for budget furniture. I have a few stocks and grips from them
Looks good, man!
Thanks man! It really is a very good and affordable build. Premium PSA parts are the way to go in my opinion if you want to save and still have a quality rifle. My initial goal was to replicate my 2008 LE6920 for a lot less.
@@DiamondbackArmoryLLC Yeah. PSA is a good route to go specially with premium parts for a decent build while saving you some dough!
Just bought this. My first AK rifle. Really nice. Best safety on a AK. Didn't shoot it yet. I'll be running only .223 thru mine. Got a smooth AK 5.56 mag from PSA (the one they make). I'll get a ac unity one soon so I can have more mags.
How is the rifle holding up?
The classic "It's the gun sights is why my shot placement blows, not because of me-I'm great with my AR." Fucking boomers.
I'm gonna go with the AK 47. First time buyer. Should I go with PSA or a Zastava? Thx
Entirely up to you. I am in the process of actually putting together my next video where I compare a PSA AK47 to the AK-101.
@@DiamondbackArmoryLLC sounds good
Go with zastava , I own a psa gf3 and a zastava. The zastava feels like it’s much higher quality. Also the psa lost its magazine release after 330 rounds. Not a big deal it was an easy replacement. But quite annoying. Other than that psa still going strong, just makes me wonder if anything else is gonna rattle off.
@@ringadingbaby4332 thx
Zastava. Built like a tank and will hold value because it's an import. Both are good though
Interested in these. Subscribed.
Actually AK74M clone. I got the saiga with all izhmash 100 series conversion parts including the side folder. If ya don't want to spend 3k on a true build, then this is your bag.
Exactly. I have a Saiga 223 and the bolt and carrier has ever so slightly different geometry and the front trunnion has that bump rivet.
Its an AKS-74N. The real AK-100/74M series have a 'bump rivet' which these do not. The PSA rifles also use a 4.5mm hinge pin where the 100/74M series use a 5.5mm pin. Hope this helps!
Very nice looking AK. Thorough review. Subbed!
I've always been a fan of the AK-103 in terms of looks and reliability, but the AK-101 is better long term in terms of the 5.56 round as a whole both price wise and rarity wise. Decision making has never been so tough 🤣
Just get both. Shoot 7.62 when it's cheaper or shoot 5.56 when that is cheaper
@@luketimmer6108the "cheaper" days are over
Are you at a public or private shooting range? Im 30mins away and looking where to shoot.
Private.
I think US will make best AKs soon. PSA gf5 with FN barrel is best 7.62 AK ever created in my opinion. They just need to make chrome lined 556 now. US is making best jets in the world like f35 and one of the best cars(Mustang, Camaro, Corvette). People who say CoMbLoc AKs are better are deluusional, like which super jet or super car did Romania or Bulgaria make? 🤣
The US definitely has the ability to produce the best products in the world courtesy of resources and an abundance of people with the necessary skills. However, the previous combloc countries that are known for producing quality AK's poured millions if not billions into their production facilities back when they prioritized their weapons production. That resulted in an excellent product at the time. As tooling has worn though, foreign AK quality has diminished. I also agree with you that PSA needs to add a 5.56 chrome lined barrel to their AK production. That would seal the deal for many folks still on the fence.
USA can make the worlds best AK but it is going to cost a lot of money to do so.
Your comparison is comically all over the place. This is peak soviet era weaponry when thats basically all they were good at. The us will never touch REAL ak quality
@@MrEvilTag lmao Soviet Union collapsed, and their peak tanks are launching turrets into space. Again combloc Ak lovers have no real reasoning.
@@MrEvilTagBecause the US already surpassed it with the AR platform. The AR was already future-proofed for accessories unlike the AKM platform.
Looks great!
Thanks!
