Thanks, Cap'n, my week overall has been really good! Laurelin is my server if you're curious, in case you ever want to tackle the dungeons, I've learned the hard way I can't tackle most of them solo. lol Same with fighting the Silk Lady. I learned that with another character when I was slayer-deed hunting years ago. The Rammath Deluon in Angmar just outright murders you, but I'm far enough in the story that I'm able to survive it. What I gotta figure out is how to fight trolls solo, I want to get into the arena and they're in rows of three. lol Anyways, thanks for tuning in! :)

@hylianjim6484 perhaps I will go to laurelin someday. I wanted to go to weatherstock in laurelin. From your description I can only guess you are close to carn dum the trolls there has insane health. Oh and what line are you in?

@@morrowoblivion13 Yes I am nearing Carn Dum! Currently in Imlad Balchorth fighting the dead. And I have zero idea which line, in relation to what? At any rate, I'm about to go online on twitch if you want to tune in! I did a stream today already but seeing the comments made me want to keep going. :)

@@hylianjim6484 ohhh geez carn dum is nuts. good luck with carn dum. The line I am referring to is the class trait lines like blue, yellow, red. For example my captain is on lead the charge(red line) and I hope you have a great time on your twitch stream. I will try to be there but I can't give you promises. But I will watch the vid when I can.

Hiya, thanks for the feedback, I changed some settings around, so hopefully it'll look better next stream. :) Edit: So I looked, it's another 11 hours to finish processing up to HD.

Amazon and Embracer Games have something cooking, for what it's worth, but they also just expect people to ditch lotro for it. I say just, you know, start a new character if you want a new adventure... Like, maybe, on the Laurelin server? ;D

I know people complain about his older stuff, and I mean, yeah, a lot of the older 'classic Todd' era like Fallout 3 and Oblivion was already awkward and kind of insulting to your intelligence, that's when the charm was still on, because it was sort of adjusting from in-depth mechanics of Morrowind to the 'legal-ban on levitation' era of Elder Scrolls and the 40s parody era of Fallout... But the complete lack of growth or adaptation stings. I'll say this, Pegliarulo cares nothing for the lore of any world he builds, compared to the lotro team, they have more love and care for even one part relative to his latest outing - because he has no one else's backbone to climb on. I know Bethesda and Obsidian ended on bad terms, but would it have been too demeaning to learn from what made their studio so effective in New Vegas...? The comments on Salem witches in Fallout to reuse the magic system of Skyrim, and the comments about the astronauts going to the moon found nothing therefore why should we... It's like, one giant step for mankind, you know? Saying there was 'nothing there' is insulting to not only the writers who dreamed as accurately as possible in numerous books that could have been referenced, but also the NASA scientists whose research informed the last 60 years...

By all means, it's a great time, and they clearly know their material - and they roll with unexplored ideas and make it their own, which is always great. ^_^ Monetization I can't speak to just yet. It's free to play, and you CAN unlock everything using lotro points, which you can pay IRL money for, or earn by doing achievements, or 'deeds,' which is how I've gotten all the quests I've got. I have spent money on lotro points, but you definitely don't need to in order to cover a lot of content. :) Also if you sign up, join Laurelin, that's my server!

Regardless if you buy a character boost or not the gear it gives will not leave you raid ready.

It’s hardly an issue. The game is massive. But the extra content once you eventually need it and you can do everything just by playing
