Well, this is from a long time ago, but some constructive criticism is in order. I dont play piano, but I can play other instruments. You start much too fast and leave out some background music. The music gets much better as you go into the latter verses but take out that lead guitar. It doesnt work. Let me try to say this without coming on like a jerk. The vocals. It's a noble effort. Doing anything 10cc is a major task. This is obviously way beyond your vocal chords abilities. Perhaps try it again in a different key? I consider myself pretty much agree 10cc expert and just looking out for the bands work. If it isn't done correctly it isn't worth the trouble. Nice try, though. I do appreciate anyone who takes them on.

Don't care about the haters. Dave did this right, and Im sure Rqfferty would approve. Dave is and will always be cool in my book. And he was the only singer for VH. 45 years later I'm now all punk rock, I😂ndie, etc but always have a soft spot for Dave. Hagar was awful and still is. I can't believe the band liked him. He turned VH unto a really bad pop metal band..

I enjoy hearing him in this register more now.

Not bad, 4/10 ... Nothing touches the real thing, and that's why all the silly metal front men in the 80's failed so humungously and embarrassingly at trying to be the one and only .. the man, the myth, the legend that is Diamond Dave Lee Roth .. ok, maybe a 6/10 .. 😊

I'm surprised he didn't change his name to Hollywood Dave and get bit-parts (cameo's) in brat pack movies after EVH & AVH booted him out of VH.

This is one of gems that I, too, have known about that was in dire need of another launch from the Best voice in my life, besides Elvis... loved him from birth, but then I discovered y'all.. and too love so many from barely being old enough to the play the record player... ❤❤❤ Got every thing you ever did, and know every word of every song. Great song, I've always loved Gerry Rafferty's song, I remember it when it came on the radio. Even though I loved hard rock and metal, this song has always moved me in a positive way.
