I imagine that they were higher beings but only because they could create things. Their ability in combat is very lacking comparing to what both were able to create. That's why I think they were so concerned in creating/gathering followers and soldiers that could protect them. Plus, I believe they've never actually had to fight anything on their own

That would be very cool I would love to see the Gilded Worms and just his model in 3D

He is confirmed to be dead by Hopoo himself, so it likely won't happen. A hidden realm that lets you fight his umbra would be cool though.

@@killer_bug8600 compared to providence, he is much harder. Mithrix used to be easier during the time he was vulnerable in his last phase, but that was changed pretty quickly.

@@Amirifiz both I guess, I just really dislike the item stealing mechanic bc it's so punishing some builds/characters are at a massive disavantage. it's a great concept it just missed the mark for me

@@bruno.vet.f it's a very easy phase imo hou can literally just camp him out and if your a melee you can use your dash or for loader use the dash punch

@@Hirabeatz yeah honestly its a shocker at first but quite easy when you know what to do. on longer runs it gets a bit more dicey but just keeping your range is more than enough

I've never played ror 1 but I have beaten ror 2 a few times, and I personally have to say that they both give off a terraria type vibe, but ror 2 being incredibly hectic is what makes me like it.
