So no Carl this time? I'm not hating on the change and I'm optimistic about Harry. Carl's VA was fantastic and I loved his voice too! Gonna miss him if he's not in this one.

Interesting but didn't found anything new in this game more like a another new Sniper Elite 5 single player DLC camapaign with a new name and new charector replaced Karl Fairburne. they can add more features and add on elements into this game like old crouch running may be added..human shield feature may be added..refine ADS weapon view mode..more authentic sniping elements.enemy AI needs to be more tactical and realistic..but all felt the same and this game series slowly inclined into more CQB / CQC style rather than proper authentic Sniping game that it was before. less sniping elements and more CQB. still looking forward.

There better be some new gameplay mechanics - more realistic entry and exit wounds - more realistic close combat takedowns, where it takes 20 seconds to choke out or knife someone to death - Backpack inventory - Open World - Ability to dig in and make a camp over night to save progress with storage room in the camp - off map hideout u can extract to in order to store ammo, gadgets and weapons. Gruesome sounds and screams from the wounded !

I knew this was a side story from sniper elite 5

It was an okay game but not as good as 4... I uninstalled and permanently deleted after 3 hours because of the smelter bug.

Unfortunately this feels far to much like a retread. Same location, same plus a couple new weapons, same "mysterious super weapon" plot. Why not go to the the Pacific? Eastern Front? Late war wintery Germany? Literally anything else? Hell why not move on from WWII? Imagine one set in Vietnam, stalking through the jungle, using camouflage as well as sound, use new inventions like super early night vision or calling in precision airstrikes. You could have a very nice mix of thick jungles, open fields, river valleys, all the way to dense urban environments. Plus it would help satisfy those that want the pacific theater very slightly. This unfortunately feels like it has a complete lack of creativity. First sequal im not excited for.

yep I still remember the good old SE3 days. Loved that mission, especially that part. Also loved the final part where you have to use the Teufelsfeuer to explode your way out.

The same old "evil Nazis" trope. I think you should come up with a more original story. The first game had the best plot imo. After that you've just fallen into the same old boring clichée.
