This is a timelapse of a commission piece for a profile pic I made recently. At this moment I do not have the equipment to capture a proper speedpaint of when I work, so this will have to do. I made the character and background on two different canvases because of layer restrictions (plus my iPad was crashing frequently), and blended them together in post. I didn’t have a lot of time these past weeks to make much, but I did do this over a few days. The only reason I didn’t start with references is because I was curious to know how my brain would attempt to problem-solve before I knew the answers. References are always the best way to get things more accurate.

The original song was shorter with the title 'Jelly', and I made it as a gift for someone back in 2020. But now it's been updated and lengthened to a full-length track.
