I quit therapy recently because of how personally unhelpful it is and how much trauma it only adds onto me. I've been sent to a lot of mental hospitals. They don't know how to even help me, though, because hospitals are for aggressive people, but I'm not aggressive, I just have no value for my own life. I also have a lot of physical conditions that are never met with the needs required when Im in wards, so I literally physically wither while the workers couldn't give less shits. Cus, as long as I'm not causing any outward problems, I shouldn't be bothersome. Every ward I've been to has only promoted isolation tenfold. I love this little series soso much.. Only thing I don't relate to is Ratticus' aggressive impulsion. I wish I had a therapist that initiated clever ways to get me to talk. I especially wish I had a therapist that actually listened and made me feel like I had at least one safe space. No one feels safe to talk to in my life, and I've grown up to not help but feel that other people crying for help is quite annoying due to being forced to deal with all of my hardships alone. I feel bad about it. I just have no idea how to help others because I've never been given that help myself. I've always been sent adrift, and so at this point whenever things get hard, I just drift myself away before others can. Before they can get more plaque welded over my mouth.

This is actually starting to Inspire me to kinda animate my feelings.....could I use your idea of like Therapy but as animals?

My quick thoughts. When Ratticus talks about his lack of empathy, I feel inclined to think that was something he was told about himself since as soon as he notices the changes on the therapist's behavior him trying to fix his mistakes. Though it may be it doesn't occurs on mere empathy, but rather him feeling uncomfortable with the way the therapist was acting 6:22 the subtle way the therapist almost frowns. Noted. 7:16 I like the way Ratticus reacts and I love the therapist quick analisis of his reactions to silence 7:39 Oh. here i just want to say, Ratticus effort to open up like this is very big. Maybe his mom forced him to therapy an therefore he assist with anger to the sessions. That would explain the coffe (both times)

Im a little late to the party but i think that the therapist saw that ratticus didnt feel comfortable talking about his mom so he kept pushing for an answer without really pushing? just talking about how sweet his mom is and such while ratticus knows she isnt makes him wanna contridict that and blurt out against it? if that makes sense idk maybe im just crazy 😭

I forgot how triggering the silent treatment is for me. That whole scene had me with how accurate it was. I get that the therapist had good intentions, but I don't think that would work for me. i personally loved that he had two sides to hime that both equally felt like the real him. The cute innocent harmless guy flip-flopping with an angry, uncomfortable, hostile timebomb is so honest to how many people actually are. It really feels like theree's a valid reason for him to be either way too.

I love this series. I'm so glad to see it again. I love Dr. Zo so much. And Ratticus revealing the thought at the end,,,, The dancing around the issue until it just bursts out was so relatable. And I loved all the attention to detail in the character acting. Ratticus fidgeting and digging his nails in when he's stressed as well as the deliberate placing of the coffee cup down throughout the scene. Also, I love the sound design and scoring in these videos. The music reflecting the action and the static for the noise in Ratticus' head,,,, (I also depict my intrusive thoughts as static in my art.) Did you compose the music yourself or did you find existing music and animate to that?
