Masha-Allah (Sub’ha’na’hu Wa Ta’a’la), it is so nice to see the people of Bo-Kaap in Cape Town having this wonderful spirit by welcoming the New Year in Islam, 1446, Al’ham’du’lil’laah! It is nice to see a wide variety of participants in the brigade, young and old, boys and girls, some women with scarf and others with Hijab, Sub’ha’nal’laah! In Pretoria we have drums and bugles (trumpets), and it is nice to see windpipes here, wow! A brigade always brings back fond memories, and as soon as people hear the brigade, they run out of their houses or watch from their balconies. Keep up this good tradition! Well done! Masha-Allah (Sub’ha’na’hu Wa Ta’a’la)! I am 64 years old and I still love the sound, atmosphere and uniform of a Brigade. Salaams and warmest regards from Dr Ahmed Adam, Pretoria

Very beautiful my Moslem brothers this brings back memories when I was a child visiting Uitenhage (kariega) and the Moslem brigade marched down Gibbon street up Durban road .
