X-23 is my least favorite character.

I loved X- Men evolution. It's one of my favorites. I would have like to see Colossus on the team over spyke. I didn't hate spyke I just would have like the true core team. I think there should have been a season with a rival school, something like a hellfire club with a younger Sebastian shaw, Emma frost, Harry Leland and Donald pierce. That would have been kind of cool. I also wish they brought rogue to the Xmen like the comics. Where after she got ms marvels powers she was really having issue and seek professor x help. The team didn't trust here especially wolverine, but after she saved him he trusted her 100%. I loved the younger class except magma should have been blonde. That bugged me lol. Overall I miss the show and wish it had some more seasons .

Myst has always been a difficult person. She lost Kurt and Rogue due to her ways which she deserved. >.> Agreed. Evolution had a lot of mature stuff, but then even the very old disney did so to me it wasn't anything that shocking. I wished season 6 would happen, but Logan might not be in it so. :( The producers were a bit ha ha. But it made great seasons. I wish there had been more Pietro and less Lance but oh well. </3

Almost all the girls had self-control issues, and the producers where sadists about it! >=3 Yeah, that would have been interesting, as father-daughter & mother-daughter dynamics play-out vary differently, but Myst was always good at mind games. Looking back, there was a good amount of mature stuff on Evo: child abuse, Wanda's brain-rape, etc. I (& many slashfics ;j) also think that Rusty was as much to spy in everyone, as she wanted a "fling" with Rogue, and that really push her over the edge.

Well I like Spyke. So no comment there. They had Rogue for that. Over-done if you had a Storm and Rogue being out of control. We just have different opinions. :) I prefer Storm as an adult, it gave everyone balance. But I respect your opinion. :) Well Storm can't be a nudist on a show that kids would also watch. And the only reason Kurt tries to hide it, is because he doesn't want to be hated, so I guess it makes sense. Even the comics censor Mystique, she should of been "dad" not "mom". xD

Spyke was a third wheel from the start, and they could have used other characters for teachers, like Banshee or Ema Frost. Teen Storm would have added drama, as she always needs to keep her emotions in check (like Raven form Teen Titans) but that is hard for a teenager. Comic Kurt was daring, outgoing, flirtatious, pious, and hated hiding form the public with a holowatch - not like Evo. But I cant expect a cartoon to be too much like the comics, as Mystique is bisexual, and Storm is a nudest.

That's cool shame it didn't happen in the show. It's sweet of Logan. xD Storm as a teen for Evo wouldn't of worked due to Spyke though. :( And I guess they needed some "originals" to be adults. C: I liked Storm as an adult. I like Kurt, I thought evo was fun for him. I'm such a Logan fan girl I'll watch a series for Logan. :D

Yeah, the comics are vary different from the cartoons. They cut a lot out for media watchdogs, but the comics handled a lot more mature stuff. In the comics, it was a little PSA moment when Logan convinced Kitty not to drink or smoke, and noted his own immune system when she called him out on it. I like Kurt the most, followed by Storm, but none of the cartoons ever did him any justice, as he was the most human character in the comics! It would have been nice to have Storm as a kid for Evo. =(

I know Wolverine can't get diseases, but I thought he could still get drunk, e.t.c? Or is it because he heals too quickly to get the side effects? (I grew up with the animated series 1997 and the x-men evolution so not sure.) I love the amv!! :D Wolverine is my favourite x-men, I like him best in evolution if I'm honest. And I liked Jean and Scott being 18+, they weren't "kiddies" but they were young enough to relate to. And I thought the story was well done. Even had almost suicide x-23. Wow.

The significance of the song to the series in my mind is that all mutants are the result of evolution but many of the older mutants and superstitious human beings suspicious of scientific findings ( Often with very understandable reasons and sometimes not so understandable reasons which adds an element of realism ) are Creationists nonetheless . In the case of Logan , Rogue , Spyke , Gambit , Pyro , Wanda , Mystique and Laura , I get the feeling they`re suspicious of both theories .

Actually , it doesn`t " go completely against The Comics " so much as it does what most of The Films and Ultimate Comics try to do which is reinterpret the very earliest Comics and characters from throughout The Comics for modern audiences to make the characters more relatable and believable . Also , The Comics themselves have so many retcons , ressurrections and alternate universes that trying to keep every minute detail 100% true to the source material would be a loser`s game .

For the same reason he dose not smoke and drink hard liquor it the cartoons, like do dose in the comics, despite the fact that he'll never face the side-effect of them: Kids would think they can do it, without consequence.
