I have one on a engine i installed on my kids midget. Briggs world formula block milled head, stroker kit , running an 28f 418 flat slide on methanol pilot jet 58 main 450. The issue im having is with the idle screw turned out to zero input and the idle jet screw zeroed my engine still idles at 3000-3150 rpms. Im not sure what to do. Im guessing i need to go up on the pilot jet to maybe 65ish+- to richen it up and hopefully slow down the rpm(slow the burning) But could adjusting the slide needle change this too? Any help / advice is much appreciated 🙏

The hole in the safety wire pliers where the diagonal cutter is it so after you pigtail the wires you use that hole in the diagonal cutting blades in order to crimp the pigtail at the end

I ran 2 zips and laydown superkart a freond of mine made. That chassis looks judy great to me. If it's fast enough to scare the he'll out of you that's plenty fine! I went so fast with my TZ 250s I still can't believe it. I wad also good at converting Yamaha RD 250s into TZ spec engines. I liked the gear spacing on the RD based motors a bit better. Those RDs ate just about the greatest engines ever made!

The fab work dosent scare me what so ever. It's just that some stuff is crazy priced. And as soon as the new kind comes out it loses so much value.

Where can I find a used VORTEX ROK Shifter motor. I have a 1971-1972 artic snow cat mini bike with the sax motor. Iv seen just the engines seized without crab, exhaust, and and parts missing sell for 1k

Hi, I'm moving to Cali soon and understand this year they've banned all the engines under 25HP. How can the hobby continue there under these new regulations? Is it just that people have to buy used small engines, or make trips to pick them up over in NV or OR?

Dr. Berry! It is funny how some of the most minute things can trigger such a big connection....and you connected the dots. I don't know many people so the dots are easier to connect, which is good because us italians aren't too bright!! Really good story.

Thanks for the great vid. BTW, I had my RD 400 bored and heads ported. Flatslides with pod filters and chambers. Now the motor won't pull higher rpms. What all would you change on the carbs?
