Yeah, I agree there are better displays out there but also good to hear about the front rack. I just didn’t enjoy the ride especially and I would have to blooming love it for the price tag.

Agreed. This was the first one I tested out, and I was really surprised. When you consider the Park Tool equivalent is $50, you definitely get a bargain with this.

I should clarify, shocking is bad… but I’ve actually put about 2000km on this bike now and it’s held up. Definitely value for money.

If you’re adding a larger cassette (as in going from a 9 to a 10) then you’ll have to change derailleur. If you’re getting a bigger cassette with the same amount of cogs just with larger gear ratios then you won’t need to, you just have to check chain length. Hope that answers your question.

@@RachelRidesBikeshey man this isn’t necessarily true, as long as the derailleur has enough travel for the gears, just swapping the shifter will do the job. Indexing is only in the shifter, not the derailleur. For shimano any 8-10 speed derailleur will work with 8, 9, or 10 speeds with the right shifter.

1x12 isn’t single speed... And the 1x12’s don’t offer the same range of gears. As this is primarily a tourer for going up and down the alps I wanted the biggest spread of gears.

It’s aluminium, and I’ve now got 2k on the bike and it’s going strong. Definitely worth the price tag.

Unfortunately I’ve emailed them a few times and heard nothing back. And I got my camera through a third party so yeah, I think they are as good as closed. 😢

I think there are also factories in Japan and China, but to be fair wherever this came from it’s working rather well 👍

The tyres are cracked and perished, there’s some rust and, well, a plant - but it won’t take much to make a cracking kids bike.

We are going for a police motorcycle theme because the small person blooming loves ne-nar cars!

At the time shockingly bad, but having now wracked up around 3k on this bike I really like it!

@@RachelRidesBikes i am thinking about getting into gravel bikes, i saw this one for 350€, and compared to all other bikes thats hella cheap the next one would be Cube ~900€, and now that you say that you like the gearing too, i think i might get this one, even if its only for a couple months if i like riding gravel bikes

@@TheXnyu Yeah definitely get this one, work out what it is you like and don't like, and then either upgrade or move on. It is a solid choice for the price.

Not quite. It wasn’t branded as anything on the Amazon site, so I was surprised it came as a Shimano (fake, grey box or other).

Thankfully was just wrapped around the top tube on a donated bike (and the donor didn’t pass on the key). So easy to cut through, people should really avoid them.

Overall I’m super happy with the brakes. They’ve done 4000km and lots of wild weather to boot, but yeah, this seems like an engineering oversight.
