I have an opportunity to buy a used Fluke 125 for a good price but I was wondering if it can measure DC power (Vdc * Adc). From the video, it looks like during power measurements, it uses AC coupling for voltage and current. Can this be changed? Can you select DC mode for voltage and current during Power measurement? I'm interested in DC power measurements for automotive troubleshooting and PV inverters with battery.

This is promoted and sold by FLUKE, as an Electrician’s Meter. Of course this will not be ideal for the bench top Hobbyist in need of measuring Milliamps and Microamps. It even has built in ability of a NCV tester, which works very well, and eliminates carrying around a separate little tool for detecting live voltage!

Can you test an IGBT that is connected to a board?

can anyone explain the "pulse" feature on the fluke 726? what is it for and how do you use it? Is this for PWM signals?

wish it worked like the manual. goind to service mode does nothing; no lights anywhere. but tried it on working cables, test cables. all the same.; Service does nothing.

Where could I find the rj45 and rj11 alligator test leads? Could I simply build my own or is it easier to buy replacement ones?

What I love about the device is that it doesn't seem like it would be all floppy and flimsy like typical third hand items. When things stay in place you can work with confidence.
