2002 Honda Accord V6 Power Stearing Rack and Pinion Replacement
Просмотров 5 тыс.2 года назад
Used Crowfoot wrench for the lines and disconnected Control Link. End up replacing a power steering pump. Put your car in park and increase RPMs buy pressing the gas (press your brake for safety) , try to turn the wheel left and right. If it's easier to turn the wheel, must likely your power steering is not working.

Mazda 3 engine noise
Просмотров 3,5 тыс.8 лет назад
The noise was comming from the intake manifold. It's is either broken intake flaps or actuator is not good. Intake flaps are controlled by the actuator, and actuator is controlled by the intake runner solenoid, which I was unplugging in the video. Just follow the hose line from solenoid to see to which actuator it's going. One actuator is replaceable and the other not. The actuator that is lowe...
Honestly was not that bad one you broke it down! thanks Edit: this helped with SpecD Headlights for Nissan Frontier
Naw... Ain't doing all that for some HIDs.
It was a link not a control arm 😂
And a "Crows Foot" is what its called, Not a Crescent Wrench, Different tool.
Is it related to B1423 error code?
Question: What problem/Symptoms lead you to the compressor? Thx
Check if your ac clutch is engaging. Waite for few minutes. If it doesn't check if you get the voltage to the compressor. Also check the pressure on high an low. If it holds the vacuum then you don't have a leak.
What year was the Madza 3?
I believe 2006.
Thanks for the video. I changed mines today. Got a brand new one from compressor international on ebay for like $230 and mines came with oil in it, thank Jesus cause nobody has hybrid oil in NC. Also changed the condenser because compressor international suggested it. Got that from O'Reilly for $201. Vacuum pump for $165, manifold Guage $100, ac freon adapter nozzle $8, 2 cans R134A $30 each, all above tools and freon from harbor freight. Charged it to 38psi low side and whatever on high side after I vacuumed the lines for an hour. Blows cold asf now. $700 Better than 3k to have dealer fix it. Was ez my first repair on a car
How long did it take you to install the compressor ?
Can't remember. Maybe 4 hrs.
Aboht to do this in mine.. I hope its my compressor lol last summer when I bought it when I turn on the ac the motor and everything would surge real bad every time the compressor would kick on then it would kick back off and idle back down then repeat till you turned ac off… did all this but never would blow cold air…. Hooked can up pressures would just swing with the during/revving …. Weirdest thing ever… now this summer nothing happens so hopefully slap this other compressor in and it works lol
How much was your compressor ? My friend has a 2007 toy Prius and the shop says she needs a new compressor ,and is charging her 9 hours a labor !! All together 800 bucks !!
@@jenncarr5376 that’s absolutely insane… it’s literally 3 bolts and a high voltage connector… took me literally 15 min… easiest thing I’ve ever done on a car… I ended up needing a condenser because my filter was clogged.. bought one for $50 bucks… I believe I bought my compressor off eBay used and it runs like a champ:.. only thing is when you do it buy a can of hybrid oil for the compressor.. it’s same can as Freon just these take special oil because there not on the motor drivin by a pully it’s electric then fill the rest with your normal Freon and you’ll have ac again.. no joke easiest thing I’ve ever done on a vehicle 3 bolts holding it on and 2 ac lines easy access bottom front of motor
I like this guys style... still wears the gloves that have a rip on every finger.
Thanks for the video. Just replaced mine. I wouldn't dare to do it if you wouldn't post it. Thanks again
How did you know it had to be replaced or you were having problems int he first place? Personally my ac keeps blowing hot air, use to be the Refrigerant after ac shop told me Refrigerant was the problem but over time it fails and refrigerant doesnt help anymore not sure what to do.
@@Th3TaurosGamer I hooked my gauges up and the pressure on low and high was the same. This is an indicator of non working compressor. If you low on refrigerant, the low side may go into vacuum
Hi sir good vídeo. Question did you have to disconnect the power to the high voltage battery or only the negative to the 12v battery?
I think disconnecting negative terminal will be enough ( from the back). You will disrupt the circuit that way.
@@achiriu1987 i dunno about that might be good to do bolth just for health sake... disconnect the 12v then remove the high foltage service plug. wait 20 minutes and your good
Thank you so much for the help!
I am glad it helped
I think I got it backwards. But you got an idea
1.6 benzin ?
