lucky! and I would've been like "OOOH FREE CARS" if I was in there
Was here back in April. I liked the open field out back
Yes Alice n Chains
Thts a Big House
I love the staircase
Sup from Kentucky
i have been here in real life and its so cool
That Mexican restaurant used to be a Ruby Tuesdays way back in the early 90’s. My brother in law was the manager there for a while.I’m not sure when it closed though…maybe mid to late 90’s would be my guess.
12:52 -- Service corridors are how stock is delivered to the stores (and garbage is removed). There would have been a freight elevator (14:02) and a trash compactor located somewhere along those halls. In the mall that I worked at in the 1990s, some internal hallways had the same floor tile and wall coverings from decades prior. There is no need to upgrade those spaces as they are not public. The space was more than a bit creepy even when the mall was open.
New sub ! Liked 🙏😍🤩🙂❤️⛄️
just went there today while I was down here on business glad I checked it out and took pictures since it will no longer be here when I come back I'd love to have done a night explore we had what I assume was a security guard plain clothes guy yell at us for touching the gates to see if they were open
You got into Margarita’s! I’ve been dying to see inside that spot for the longest time
That entire neighborhood is a crime wasteland that converts anything around there into a bottomless pit of despair. They are turning it into an industrial area? interesting
The fastest killer of a mall. Crime will do it everytime..the downside to that cheap land it was built on in the firstplace.
A total marketing disaster
Could be creepy to visit at night.
Scary asf Remmber before they shut that last movie theater down we would go see movies there and leave when the whole mall was closing like pitch black and you can’t see shit and all you hear is noises the mall was empty asf by then it’s dark asf and you can’t see shit
Legacy is now closed - as of the last Sunday of August 2022.
Glad I got check it out before they moved
Wow I was there the first weekend that place opened. My friends and I spent many weekends as teenagers hanging out there. Thanks for posting this. I have to go take a look one last time.
You got into that crusty restaurant! That is awesome, it's kinda stinky around the outside of that whole area where that abandoned bar type place sits next to it.
Yeah! It was one of the coolest parts of the mall
Why does this channel not have more views? This is cool .. I miss Ames and Hills
Thanks...I just moved to Louisville and love exploring scary old stuff like this. Your vid was very helpful. I just found the old mill yesterday and posted on my facebook a question about it. Again, thanks
Pansies... Find a way into the tunnel. Get in there and record it!
2019 update: Since this video was made the park has chosen to up security around the area. Much of it including the pond, reservoir, cave and jctc campus is now under servalliance and you can be charged with trespassing into the area. I assume that it's due to a safety risk. I was lucky to have explored the area before it was closed off completely. I did record video other times I went, if I can find it I will upload. I do not recommend that anyone enters the area now or in the future.
2021 update: The park has opened a portion of this area back up with an established trail. However most of it, including the cave and buildings, remains blocked off by fence.
I'm pretty certain all this is gone now
What makes you say that? I was planning to check this out in the next couple days
It's still there but the park has stepped up security and now threatens trespassing charges. I wouldn't recommend going anymore.
I just made a video on this check it out!
I also did a video of this place!
photos are good.
That's not a bridge btw. It is part of the Goose Creek Mill. It was used when the farm existed. Way before the hospital.
Thanks VillianyPD! GOOD JOB!!!!
Im curious about the abandoned Campus of JCTC, have you made back out there yet?
yeah i have actually been back a few times. i have another video on my channel that is just the campus and i recorded it during the day. i would suggest checking it out if you are in the area, it is easy to get into and really cool.
VillainyPD I’m not sure if there was more than one barn (and this was back in 2010) but I went with some friends and there was a barn that we got into. On the first floor there was yellow boots hanging up on the wall and a wall where there were white outlines where the tools were to be hanged. On the second floor there were a bunch of school chairs and desks and a basketball hoop. It was really cool especially since it was my first time urban exploring. My friend found a couple of jars that had some biology stuff in them. It also seemed like someone homeless was living inside of the building that was connected to the barn, as there were sleeping bags in one of the rooms.
I want to go here!
donde lo compraste ? vendemelo ...
