Any idea if this will fit a 60-65% keyboard? I was thinking of carrying a mechanical keyboard with mine
@@zeroxwolfx it would be rather snug unless you have a bare steam deck then it might be ok but your joysticks will get squished, if you're not using it for ging check out this Fosmon Mini Bluetooth Keyboard a.co/d/1Qjj9s6
@@hausmanprime6623 thanks!
What are your graphic settings?
Once I saw your video I just had to get one for my self
geforce now, no es steamdeck. Tramposillo.
Thank you for the information. I was planning on getting the Tomtoc Sling Bang for Steam Deck but the U shaped design isn’t very practical for Killswitch cases. I’m glad to know that this 5.5L sling bag works with the Killswitch case cover on.
Hearing alot about the new swivel connectors making a squeaking noise have u experienced that ? Nice video
No I haven't experienced that, I have used the strap only about 30% of the time though
I literally have your first bag and am considering the t26 as a replacement lol.
I've really enjoyed the upgrade, still using it today
I also ended up with this on my quest for a Steam Deck bag. However, it is now much more than that - my EDC is an Aer City Sling 2. Since the Tomtoc can also accommodate the deck, it's become my primary EDC. Slightly bigger which is great since my Aer is always crammed!
Hi, on your old tomtoc bag you showed, there's "W" shaped separator that protect the steam deck analogue stick. Does the new bag (tomtoc wander) also has it? thank you.
The bag in this video does not have the W separator, however, the new version of that bag with the separator is removable, the version I bought was not removable which is why I wasn't a fan.
@@hausmanprime6623 Thanks man, appreciate the answer!
Cool! This is perfect for EDC.
nice, it is exactly what I need
came for the bag, but now want the pen and the tech cleaner! haha, can you give a link to the tactical pen please, there is only a link to the bag in the description.
*promosm*
Come hai fatto ha installare il controller?
Finally! A review video showing a steam deck in it. Most reviews just put EDC stuffs. 😂
Can you give us any infos about the ingame grafic settings you use? My game looks ass
It's deceptive. He isn't playing it on the Steam Deck. It's Cloud Streaming, it's running on a server somewhere and being piped to the Steam Deck.
@@brandonwethy i know he streaming it
Runs perfect for me and very easy to setup. Steam deck is king 👑
what controller settings u use
Just make sure you run the script to have your browser detect your steam deck controls (link on description) and the game will recognize it as an Xbox controller
Is there any delay on the controller input?
In 30 hours of gameplay I have had it happen about 2 or 3 times for a couple seconds
@@hausmanprime6623 wow that's impressive. I usually get a little bit of button delay on Xbox Cloud but is usually on live service games like Destiny. Thanks for the response mate.
Can you tell me how 🥲
Yes! Link in description for setting up GeForce now on deck
Awesome pen... Can u put a link to it plz...Cheers..
Oops thought I did, link in description, thanks!
Is there any clearance issue with a Steam Deck that has a tempered glass installed?
This is the way!
did you end up using this for a while? would you feel safe with it in there in quite a full backpack
Can I use this case with thumbstick caps?
If they are small like the JSAUX caps yes but if they are bigger it would be a tight fit and put pressure on your sticks
I like the idea of not running a case on the Steamdeck. It makes it about 100+ grams lighter.
I do like that the tomtoc covers the back vent, and lets you use the steam deck in its lightest form
Its kinda weird for sure. I went for skull and co one since i liked their switch case
Mine should’ve been today it’s tomorrow for the holiday
Hope you have a great holiday and it arrives soon!
Very sad it’s available only for USA, definitely would be interested in buying
Such a struggle which one to get. Steamdeck OLED or ROG ally. At this point probably saw most of reviews. Still can't decide. The only concern is performance ...
The deck is going to get much better long term support IMO.
For me user experience is the most important, Steam OS is designed for a handheld while Windows is not, both are great machines but I like the one that gives me the least headaches so I run the Steam Deck all day babyyyyyyyyy! (Sorry watching Ted Lasso while I typed this)
Thanks for opinions lads. Yeah Steam OS is a banger. And must be great for emulators. Pricing is right also it's seems to be worth every penny.
okay that's how you take the case apart. I thought I got ripped off I was like this ain't a two-part case lol
Haha yeah it's in there pretty good, give it a good pull
i am sad i dont even have money for it and i wanted it like for 1,5 years
Does look nice, I wernt with the 512 which I got it on Saturday but wondering if I should gone with a 1TB version, I am to afraid to open my and change it feel like I woudl emss it up also need to get the tools and that usb to so the file thing. Well whatever the case if you have ncie steam deck, I juts hope i did the right call for my.
I don't think there is a right or wrong way, whatever suits your use case, budget and preference, I hope you enjoy it!
Friday can't come fast enough 😭😭
it arrived!
@@corbin1157 same!! What a beauty! Which one did you get??
congrats, this is fire
Do you find the power light too distracting for this model? I saw some pictures where it is really bright and shine through the plastic a lot in the dark.
That's a good question, the power light is only on when the charge is plugged in and now turns green when the deck has fully charged
@@hausmanprime6623 Since you use the killswitch case, does that cover the LED light? The transparency on top shows the LED on the front
@@arghpee yes, the Killswitch and any case that fully wraps does hide the light when its on through the the front part of the translucent shell
thx! hope u have fun and enjoy it@@hausmanprime6623
Nice one! mine has bin stuck in "* Packaged items" status since Friday 17. ... .
Hope it ships out soon!
Damn, mines say arriving Friday smh lol. Lucky. Its beautiful enjoy it
how are you enjoying it?
I'm F5-ing tracking status so hard today ... 😂
My same journey yesterday lol
Dang I’m jealous yours came in so quick, I’m still in the package stage 😫
I hope it arrives quick for you!
@@hausmanprime6623 you manifested it for me, it comes tomorrow 🙌🏻
hey what thumbtack covers do you have on your deck?
It's the thumb grips that come with the case but you can also order them separately
Awesome review. Gonna order it the case now
I was worried about the battery bank restricting the air intake, however i see there is enough space that the strap seperates from the case enough as to not restrict the air, glad i picked this!
I have that same ,battery bank a MUST have Imo for the deck, great vid, got one on the way :)
Good for you dude I’ve got my case coming today
Does the steam deck fit inside the oem case just using the case without the front cover?
Without the cover and mod pieces, It does, a little tight but it fits, kickstand fits in the back hole if you want it to
@@hausmanprime6623 Thanks for the info!
FINALLY somebody gets what the dock cover is for! You sir earned my sub just for that. Good video and thx!
lol for real i seen a ton of these vids, people thinks its a flemsy dock
I really love the practicality of the JSAUX modcase, but if I'm buying a protective cover for something I paid $600 for then I'm going to want the best quality protection that I can get. We all know the JSAUX case is of lower quality than Killswitch just from the lower price and the flimsy-ness of the case when it's installed. While this probably isn't a deal breaker for most, especially if you're only ever playing your Deck while on the couch or indoors, for myself and most likely others it is. It's nice to have all these different attachments for different things, but the 2 most used ones will most likely be the kickstand and the SD card holder. Whereas dBrand has the SD card holder built in to the kickstand. So I don't have to swap anything to be able to use both of them. Bottomline is that I want the absolute best protecting my Deck and, from what I've seen so far, Killswitch is definitely the best for that. I will say though, if they release a case that leaves a spot open for the cold plate on their replacement backplate to make contact with something like their rechargable fan, that's something that I will definitely have to check out.
Very good points, one thing to note about the JSAUX over the Killswitch is to your point, with a $600 device, I'm going to use the official dock and with the JSAUX you can do just the but with Killswitch you can't use a 90 degree USB C connection to dock
Valve's dock is not only overpriced for what it is, but it also has had some issues from the benchmarks I've seen comparing it to other docks. The dock from iVoler is actually the most consistent and reliable one that I've seen so far, while also being very fairly priced. Also, dBrand sends you everything you need to use your Deck with the Killswitch installed on your official dock with your order. Just need an adapter to fit, and a USB C extender to take care of the idiotically designed connector on the dock. Even if I couldn't use the dock, I would still prefer the Killswitch. I'm playing in handheld mode 99% of the time anyway. So at that point, it goes back to my original point of wanting the best protection I can get.
@@itranscendencei7964 great info, I'm glad that works for you
