@antchung2370 mora, ganzo and a few others manage pumping out decent knives under 20, so I gave this a shot, but missed, obviously.

very glad youa re enjoying it. I had a hard time using it in any hard tasks. I have an entire series on this knife and ended up doing major modification on the hadle. Now it melts into my hand.

@danieldavid7482 it was extremely tightened. I had to take it to a watch service, and they used the proprietary caseback opener

@@wismods Yeah I’ve been trying with a rubber ball and no luck, I ordered a die wrench but I’m not sure if I should take it to the shop right now.

@danieldavid7482 the caseback is screwed on too tight. The rubber ball does plenty, so I tightened it down with that. I tried various wrenches without luck.

@ChateauBeaufort thank you for the kind words. Ues, those Russian blades are immaculate. Much better build quality than all my other blades. They are ground to full convex, not milled, so the blades also look awesome with nice satin finish. The price is equivalent to TOPS knives done in 1095. Cheers!

@DaryooshF.Sh.P-vq6mu thank you for the kind words. I am a bit obsessive, so I clean my knives after use with rubbing alcohol. I've had them stain before, so I care for them. I also resharpen them if any start losing an edge and keep them shaving sharp. I do wish I had the chance to use them more frequently, though.

With this channel I am trying to show the truth about various knives, blade shapes, steel varieties and their optimal use. @airiksknifereviews9548 No, I hadn't seen the Pathfinder until now. Very different blade and handle from the owl knife I have. I have never purchased a Real Steel before even though a couple of their designs have also caught my attention. I don't trust their choice of steel and heat treatment, but I may be wrong. If you like convex I strongly recommend Owl Knife and Southern Cross. Both have i credible convexes that start from the spine, they have secondary micro edges, but I took them straight down very easily. Both these brands are Russian though, so you may not be able to buy them, but I was amazed at their quality. Russia in general makes junk, and I am a freak on qc, obsessive even, but these knives amazed me. Also Russia is an occupant of my country (Georgia), so I have a bucket of negative feelings, I am not trying to promote anything Russian, but I am a fair man and try to live truthfully. Out of my entire collection, these three I have (2 southern cross and 1 owl knife) are the best blades in terms of design and qc. Also, southern cross leather sheaths are the best by far. I don't have a cheap collection, so I am comparing with 150-350 dollar knives.

@joehaze The company CEO and owner told me to check back with them in about 6 months as they are releasing some newer models with improved designs, which was a couple of months back, so keep a lookout.

It's called Southern Cross and is a Russian Brand. It came with a "working edge" on both knives from the factory, but not really shaving sharp, I had to put my own convex edge on both as shown in my last video uploaded today, but that's acceptable for me, especially having good sharpening tools and the know how I resharpened them in 5 minutes. I will be testing their edge retention while working on wood in the forest (hopefully sometime soon).

@tangar-jz3xd of course, you may disagree as much as you like. My argument is that the build quality is better on the B1000 compared to the other two. These are steel g-shocks, so ruggedness and robustness should be expected. But within that rugedness, out of the 3, the B1000 and B2000 have stronger built bracelets, and the detail work on the dial is more demanding on the B1000 and B2000. The b3000 is the least decorated and detailed, plain dial and indexes. So I am not claiming anything in regard to taste, that is entirely subjective. But in terms of quality and workmanship required, the ranking is 1. B1000, 2. B2000, AND 3. B3000. Please keep in mind videos and photos do not do these watches justice. The difference in quality is way more visible when actually holding the watches and inspecting them in hand. What I am trying to say with this review is that I am disappointed to see my favorite brand decline in quality and design rather than improving on their next generations of watches. ​@@wismods you are welcome, nonetheless; for those who are going to chose to buy one of the I still strongly say that the three models are build with the same mechinary and technic as equel in case and dial finishing. if anything the bracelet for B3000 feels moere fitting to its case design. for those how have sharp sight I would say some colour like gold on the dial secially on the small hands would feel and look of a cheaper quality in compare with other color like red, white or black. that is my exprience. it defer from one person to other.

Thanks for your comment. I believe a portion of our preference is based on subjective taste, which is different per individual. So the round vs. octagonal shape may be a matter of individual preference, but do you think the dial, handset, and indexes are of higher quality on the b2000? Thanks again for the engagement!

Whose name, where I purchased the handsets with weaker lume? That is ds watchmod club store, but they are a shady bunch. Within the few months Ibhave bought from them, they changed name and store on aliexpress 3 times. I was also looking and could not find them. What could be the reason for such frequent name change? Maybe too many claims from unhappy customers? I don't recommend d buying from them. If you want quality and good service, contact Proxima. They have quality and are responsive

@@wismods no bro its not the claims from customers, alix sweeps these sellers and ban them for selling name brand items, its copy right infring. which is why they keep getting banned, any store that sells items that has logos on them will likely get banned sonner or later, they just simply create new stores with different names and start their business again,. i did some digging and found out that ds watchmod club is building their own website so this doesnt happen, will launch soon.

That won't help, it is not the dial feet misalignment, all holes are drilled offcentered to the left. I contacted Heimdallr asking for a replacement or refund and so far they are refusing. The guy admitted it could be defective but they had production costs, so they don't care. I am now dealing with aliexpress

The orange does make it look more sporty than dressy, but the level of execution is immaculate. The watch looks much better in hand compared to what can be perceived from the photos. Which version donyou have?

The Proxima brand is the only one I know of using a collar system for the stem, but I don't know if they sell these separately. I suggest contacting them with this question

I love their belts and buckles, but my main takeway from using both full grain and top grain versions is to go with the full rather than top.

Wouldn't you love to have a one stop shop for a wide variety of Seiko builds! I am a long-time buyer on AliExpress and have had hits and misses. I strongly hoped for this to be a hit, even despite qc issues, as long as they backed their products, but I was let down by the shady communication and request for return shipping to China at my expense. The seller did everything to avoid a refund. I value trust and reliability most of all when doing business, so I can not recommend this store (for now, hope they improve). I continue my search for reliable sources and will keep sharing my experiences, so please stay tuned. I appreciate your time!

I think I know that handset, looks more like an sbdx001 handset, and is painted black? If that's the handset you are referring too I believe the orange lume is too weak. I like the lume to last me through the night, and to my surprise, it does. Would love to see your build. Thanks for watching and sharing
