Our mission is to build a diverse group of singers, 50 years and older, regardless of race, disabilities, ethnicity, or musical background, whose singing together bears witness to the unifying, healing, joyful power of choral music. Our pledge is to highlight dynamic musical experiences with a commitment to a variety of music that can be performed with energy and
excellence, growing each individual’s musical abilities as we come together in rehearsal and perform.

Allegro 2024 Summer Camp
Allegro 2024 Summer Camp is a one-day Singer's Workshop held annually by Allegro: A St. Louis Choral Community. The 2024 Summer Camp was taught by Allegro's Director, Merry Keller, and featured the song What A Wonderful World by George David Weiss and Bob Thiele, arranged by Russ Robinson. In addition to an overview of music reading and notation, the 65 attendees learned this 3-part score and performed it as a group at the end of the day. This video features a performance of the group singing What A Wonderful World, with photographs taken throughout the day.
