I listened to this entire meeting. There’s a lot I could say about it, but I’m gonna limit it to two comments. 1. At the end of the meeting, one of the members wanted them all to have a meeting on Monday. You could hear the members around her saying.”Oooh, I won’t be here on Monday..”. You’re not barbers, you shouldn’t have Mondays off. 2. MAN!!! face palming.🙂↔️🤦♀️
Wouldn't it help keeping costs down if consolidated actually repaired leaks...we reported a water leak out in the ditch months ago & it was flagged but still has yet to be repaired, so that is how much treated water that is being wasted!!! How many other leaks are there that are not being repaired? I know many of us have witnessed spewing busted lines...hiw much of that has effected your loss?
Are our council members required to an education in order to serve?? Forgive me but it sounds like Ms. Hicks is spewing forth a bunch of rhetoric, and why is it that she does not speak into her mic 75% of the time

Just because she’s black doesn’t mean she’s going to agree with the African-American council members. If you have been paying attention for the last 3-4 meetings, you would see she’s been trying to tell them that the decision they were making were not what’s best for the city.
It had nothing to do with her being black... It's the fact that historically Crockett has protected corruption. The powers that be in Crockett have had complete disregard for procedure and laws regarding the CEIDC. In my opinion, they are protecting criminals.
Because of how city council members are chosen makes this happen all over the country. Many contenders for the local government races are summarily disqualified by a board like you see before you over the most spurious reasons publicly. Because the potential candidate had democratic support is usually the real reason. Just to clue you all in...if you personally are worth less than 3 million dollars,and you vote republican...you are the biggest fool imaginable.
