Beautiful! God bless you and your family! 🙏
Thank you so much!
Love this and the music you used!! Makes it feel so cozy and warm! I also love that you had the kids make handprints, so cute! Thanks for sharing your idea.
I am so happy you liked it! It was so fun including the kids with this gingerbread house.
Love it. The lights are wonderful.
Thank you so much!
So cute ❤
Thank you so much!
You did a beautiful job- I love your creation- thank you for sharing!
Thank you, that is really kind!
Fantastic job!
Thank you so much, we love it!
I love this. The back lighting is exactly what I’m looking for. Great job!
I am glad it was helpful, and thank you, we love it.
Fun How many ppl you invite did you invite. How many cookies did each guest bring?
Hello, it depends on the year and it keeps growing from family to friends. I invite 20-25 and usually 12-20 show up depending on the year. Some said they could not come because they couldn't bring cookies so I allowed women to come to judge so it more like a Christmas party. Depending on the number of bakers, I say a half dozen to a full dozen (6-12 cookies per baker). So if 10 bakers came, and you make 6 cookies for each baker it would be 60 cookies or if we did a dozen for each baker to take home it would be 120 cookies. You could make bars as well so its easier to make smaller ones. Also make sure to bake more than that to cut small portions of the cookie for the number of people to judge them if you want to do that. I hope you host one, they are so much fun!
Thank you for this video; I've been working at this for about 3 years... had no idea where to get the templates. will be contacting them immediately. Praise God for you, I was about to make it so much harder for myself.
That makes me so happy that these are helpful! I am excited for your project!
Good job Ladies, may I hint one thing ??? Use a putty knife when filling holes etc , apply just the right amount and require less sanding ... Otherwise come help me do mine tomorrow, LOL.
You can always hint one thing, and yes, we are always looking to improve and to save time! Thanks for watching!
I bought this last year and made one. It is absolutely my favorite Christmas decoration ever. It sends such a beautiful holy glow and is truly amazing. I'm so grateful to have been able to get this pattern..
I am glad you made it and get to enjoy it every Christmas. It is such a beautiful reminder during Christmas.
It looks lovely! Could you please give me the dimensions of the "house"? Also, what thickness wood did you use the back and trims? Thanks a lot!!!
Thank you! Hi, the dimensions are: width of bottom of house: 48 1/4 by 48.5 in to the top of the square before the peaks. The total length of tip of house to bottom is 70.5 in. The length of one side of roof is 34 in. The trim thickness is 1.5 in and the board I think was 1.2 in plywood- make sure one side is smooth or else its hard to paint on and write on. Have fun making it.
@@thegritandgracefamily5484 thank you so much! xx

Amazing ❤
I suggest you coat the wood with flex seal clear so it wont rot away with constant snow or rain
Thank you, it is from our old fence and is under a covered area on our house and stored so it won't get wet, but that is a great idea to keep it looking the way it is.
Very pretty. Black spray paint would have made them stand out during the daylight hours. Backlighting is the best. However, you need not risk your life displaying it on the roof.
Thank you for your input. You can actually see it pretty well during the day with the white on white. Love that idea though.
Your project inspired me to creat the nativity scene my wife has wanted for 20 years. I started with a screen shot of your twilight view, printed it on an 8.5x11 sheet and used 3/32 scale to produce a 4’ grid on the picture and transferred it to large paper with 4’ grid….made a perfect copy…Mary’s face in particular came out so beautiful….and it just kept getting better from there. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing that. This only took us 10 years, but as long as you do it, that is what counts. Way to be creative!
I think maybe if you had painted the figures a dark color it would contrast more with your house color. If you had a dark color house then having the figures light color makes more sense.
Thank you for your idea. You can actually see it really well during the day in person and we love the light to it.
It looks absolutely incredible.
Thank you so much! We absolutely love it.
It might have been easier if you did one strand of light with each figure. And then later connect the strands together once you get them up.
We have about 2 strands. The star is on its own and the three are connected, but work great. That is a great idea if the lights ever go out. It works for us right now.
I have such a hard time cutting anything like that out with my jigsaw I don't know if it's operator error or if it's the jigsaw
It definitely takes time and practice. ShopBarberellaHome from Etsy uses a different tool, wood router for smaller cuts: www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-1-25-HP-Variable-Speed-Fixed-Corded-Router/3316758?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-tol-_-ggl-_-LIA_TOL_129_Power-Tools-_-3316758-_-local-_-0-_-0&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4Y-sBhC6ARIsAGXF1g5cwm8tWQTWOtMgpzZ5lYQVDcmTPCrNcMsLWyLLpB04B6-fA-K9ZAcaAsbTEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Instead of cutting out the figures I would have used carbon paper underneath and traced it onto the plywood
That is a great idea!
Excellent!! Beautiful I will go this next year . I actually have the plaster Mary Jesus snd Joseph . But need the stable. I want it open so my spotlight will put a shadow on the wall . Thank you 🙏
That is awesome. Let us know if you make it. It sounds like you are on your way!
Awesomeness. Love this
Thank you, it brings us so much joy!
I love this!
Gorgeous
Thank you so much.
EXCELLENT! Although I cannot locate the template.
Thank you! We purchased it from ShopBarberellaHome from Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/1135264525/4ft-multilayered-nativity-scene?click_key=b6ac9d1870443157820e8d187b576d9c853c35c3%3A1135264525&click_sum=893f5b69&ref=shop_home_active_43&crt=1
Amazing!
Thank you so much!
I also did this..thanks for the inspiration
That is awesome! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!!
❤How truly beautiful I'm sure this party turned out spectacular 😊thank you for sharing "hey little one hope you didnt get a stomach ache from esting too many cookies"😉God bless
Hello, you did an amazing job! I am planning a Christmas program for our youth, and i was wondering if you can post the link to how to get Mary Joseph and baby Jesus’ template pls
Please and thank you
I am so sorry I did not respond sooner. Here is the template from ShopBarberellaHome: www.etsy.com/listing/1135264525/4ft-multilayered-nativity-scene?click_key=b6ac9d1870443157820e8d187b576d9c853c35c3%3A1135264525&click_sum=893f5b69&ref=shop_home_active_43&crt=1
I did all of this and even tried to.put the exact amount of lights on it but it looks nothing like the one here. Am very disappointed.
I am sorry about that. @barberellahome on instagram shows how she does a lot of templates that might help.
I bought the template and my daughter printed it out and I'm very confused about how to lay the pattern out.
The Letter before the number is for each character you are cutting out. So J for Joesph and B for Baby Jesus, A for the star, M for Mary I think and not sure for manger as I did not use that one (I used my old fence boards instead) to line them up but you can always ask Barberellahome as they are her templates. Hope that helps!
the tub is not leveled, that's why it doesn't come out square
That is helpful to know and makes me feel better about it. How would you re do it if you knew that before tiling? Just trying to learn for the future. Thanks!
@@thegritandgracefamily5484 To make this model, the walls and the tub must be perfectly level
Thank you’
ERES UNA GENIA MUJER...!👏👏👏👏👏
You didn’t waterproof behind the tile… lol has the shower started to fail on you?
Your first tile was off and that domino'ed to corner being off.
It was definitely a learning experience for my first time. Thank you for the input.
What dimensions did you cut your stripes?
What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. I already miss Christmas 🎄
Daring & impressive until you listened to Lindsay's idea. The left corner made it obvious it's a DYI job. There are ways to avoid all that measuring, time, and problems your methods created. Well done in the end for the most part.
Love it ladies!!!!
That's awesome! What a gorgeous wreath 😍
Thank you so much!
What type wood did you use? Turned out beautiful.
Nice DIY wreath decoration
Thank you so much! I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
Absolutely beautiful and I love how the light of the day into night highlights the images. Great job, Hayley (and Shane)!
Thank you Lynn!
I would like to know how much hoping and praying you did that no more families *need* to be separated through the process of adoption. This is about the kid(s), right? (I was adopted from Colombia in 1989)
Wonderful!! I definitely need a Garland or two to go with the 32 great big snowflakes I made. LOL
Yes!!!! Garlands are nice because they are smaller and you can put them anywhere. We have a lot of large snowflakes too lol. Thank you for watching our video.
