Jacob and Esau tip that helps me: Jacob has higher tears and luck already, so compound that. Esau has higher damage (therefore benefits more from multipliers), compound that too. If you find an item that is a tear effect chance per tear like little horn, evil eye, Jawbreaker, etc, give them to Jacob. If you find a damage up, give it to Esau unless Jacob is very obviously carrying. Have Esau take all initial pills bc there are no "damage down" pills, and he can afford the other hits more than Jacob, and give all luck ups and tear cap breaking items to Jacob (soy milk, latch key, etc). Basically think of Jacob as a status inflicter over an actual damage source, and Esau as a damage per shot character.

Really? The Ultra Secret room ALWAYS gives me trash! I don't mean "sometimes", I literally mean 100% of the time, I get nothing close to a game changer or even potential future synergy items. And I have thousands of Isaac hours logged. What gives? The regular Secret room is by far the best, consistently
