Sending mine back as close to useless after half an hour
What is the name of the piece that allows small drill bits to be attached? Thanks
Where was the review.
This is someone reading the specs from another review site..
Didn't even show it in operation🙄
coulddo with the ite being lighter
I know that this comment is 3 years after the video was posted but I have to say the sound quality is awful, can hardly hear what the presenter is saying. Shame as I was hoping to find out a bit a the drill I have on order.
I have been using the hedge trimmer for a couple of years it's okay but I have tried to put the cutter on & the green buttons won't budge it appears to have seized up anyone got any ideas on this?
Warranteh
Absolutely useless video! No mention of prices which defeats the stated issue of "best for your budget", how the hell are we to know if the prices are not mentioned? Also garbled mumbling narration and worst of all, NO actual video of the fans working on a stove!!? Information rehash....big thumbs down
try and get someone who it's easier to listen to , or just try being a little more careful with your pronunciation :)
P.S. I found that the branch cutter attachment has a useless design. The notches in the cutting blade are used as gear teeth to drive the blade round. When the blade becomes damaged at any point the drive cog cannot engage with the cutting disk. Gtech service replaced the blade, but the next one had just the same problem. The blade needs to be made from a more durable material (thicker, harder).
I've had two of these Hedge Trimmers and whilst they may be OK for small backyard hedges they are really not a suitable replacement for a more powerful mains hedgecutter. I've had several failures with them. After cutting 100 metres or so of old Leylandii hedges I've had the internal toothed belt shred. Although there is an electronic cutout when it cannot cut through a branch, it seems that this is not fast enough to prevent damage to the belt. Gtech service are very good, and replaced the head free of charge in the guarantee period. It happened again outside the guarantee period and this time I replaced the toothed belt myself from an online supplier. (Be careful to get a quality replacement belt). Recently I had the hedgecutter fail in a different way; the bottom blade somehow disengaged from the drive. I haven't managed to figure out how to repair this as yet. A second battery is also a good investment.
Whilst a nice idea, you need to do something about your Sound pick-up ... as with your accent it's difficult to hear & understand just what you are on about ... ''er, um, er, er ... um''? Also try saying something about the actual Dill your demonstrating ... other than 'it's a drill, comes in it's own blown/moulded case, has a long lead on it and a spare removable chuck'! TBH this review did not do much other than let us see what it looks like in someone's hands? Next time, pick out the key features you want to get across, write yourself a short script to save on the pregnant pauses and Er's & Um's ..... and get yourself a remote mike to pick up sound better. Nice effort but a C- for content & presentation :)
Yes. Very good.
I got one, it's fucking shite.
Constructive criticism for you... When demoing a product, try and push the product a little harder (a lot harder, to be honest). You say (whilst cutting) "You can see how easy and effortlessly it cuts through...."), but the problem is you are just cutting of the tiniest little bit of new growth. This is not how most people cut hedges. Give it a challenge to see what it can handle. Cut hedge back harder. All the other information in this video is fine, but for a "review" channel you really need to test tools a lot harder. Anyway, I hope this doesn't come across as me being a dick. If it does, then I appologise. Just think you could've done a LOT better job of demoing the machines capabilities and limitations (if it has any). Good luck with the channel.
Rin Tin thanks for the feedback, I will try and push them harder in future reviews.
Speak up dude
Sorry bud, I didn't have my microphone at that point.
I know sorry I didn’t have a mic at the time, thanks.
