Welcome to the Galapagos Islands! The Galapagos are an amazing placed filled with unique wildlife. At Focus Relief, all proceeds from the sale of these images go directly to community food banks.
In April 2024, Focus Relief founder Tarik Trad joined a group of 19 adventure travelers on an expedition to the Galapagos Islands, led by Focus Relief advisory board member and award-winning photographer Robert Salisbury Knight.
Trad’s participation in the expedition was made possible by the generous sponsorship from an anonymous family that liked the work being done by Focus Relief - particularly using the proceeds from their Antarctica photos and subsequent coffee table book to help end hunger - ...

Hi Tarik; thanks for sharing this. Beautiful photos - I think my favourite is the porpoising penguins and the 'double-ripple' effect they leave on the water. I'm intrigued how different our accounts are - once mine is out I'll let you know so we can compare. Stay safe - Pen & Scott-the-penguin
Thanks, Pen and Scott. Can't wait to hear about yours. Part of the reason my accounts are different is because we've limited which parts of the trip we're sharing to keep it under 40 minutes total. As you know, this only accounts for a fraction of the expedition (the live shows are longer and cover things a bit more broadly - more of our shared experiences). Also, as a storyteller, my accounts are often influenced by the initial reactions of those I shared these experiences with. Otherwise, IMO, it becomes merely a slideshow instead of a journey.
