Porsche 911 SC 1978. One of the purest driving experiences out there.
Hi there, im a (mostly) professional video maker and decided i should definitely, finally, one day, somehow, do a nice video of my own car. And i actually got to it! Anyway.. enjoy!

This is my favorite car. My dad had one in chocolate brown when I was a kid. So many great family memories surrounding that car. Edit: I can still smell the interior when I think about that car. Nostalgia at it's best.

Beautifully done. I have to admit the G body 911s aren’t my personal favorite, but it looks and sounds great here. Especially against the backdrop of rows of forgettable new cars, an air-cooled 911 is eternally cool. Well done!

really cool video. i have a 78 911 as well which is black now, but it was originally the same root beer brown as yours which is gorgeous! Mine has the stock fog lights and I always drive with the "euro" light option setting on the H4's (the low headlamp setting) and I installed lower voltage bulbs in the fog lights so they are closer. Rebuilt and backdated my engine 3 years ago. Anyway, what muffler do you run? I have SSI's and 2 into 1 Dansk Sport muffler. Yours sounds awesome! well done!
I think it has the same muffler to be honest. Maybe just one damper?

Great video production! The sound of that flat 6 is perfect especially the burbling and crackle. What is your exhaust/muffler setup?
One of the most exciting group b cars to hear fluttering by through the bends. With the right exhaust system, you can get these to sound similar to v12 cars of the same era.
Great car and nice video, though I'd prefer less shots of scenery and more of the car, plus more natsound of the engine!

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!

it should be 178 hp, its honestly not that quick but you will enjoy every 178 of them.
