Ford to challenge Pikes Peak with F-150 Lightning-based SuperTruck
Who cares? It looks like a cross between a minivan and a sewing machine. If it's better than an exotic then make it look like one, big shots.
The thing is that it costs a fraction of what those other cars cost, and it's shaped in a way that makes it practical. That's the point of Hyundai's N Performance division, they take a good-enough, practical vehicle from their lineup and spice it up, and lets be real, doesn't a 640hp Hyundai sound insane?
@@ploodl7943 But it doesn't look the part. It may beat supercars, but racing it against Lambos and Ferraris isn't going to make a Ferrari buyer purchase a Hyundai over a Ferrari, thus making these videos nothing more than sensationalism. When the original Acura NSX was released, it set the world on fire, because it not only performed like a supercar, it looked the part of a Ferrari killer and was as reliable as a Honda. Earth-shattering for the supercar world. It actually made Ferrari owners buy it, and those who couldn't be Ferrari owners buy it! Heck, even Gordon Murray admits the NSX inspired him during the development of the McLaren F1. Making a dumpy looking hatchback chase speed records isn't going to sway a supercar buyer, thus relegating these videos as nothing more than marketing for easy views and to make people who do buy Hyundai feel better about their purchase. Nothing more. And that's my problem. Like the Honda NSX, why can't it be something more?? I'm advocating for Hyundai's N Performance division to make something that looks like a jaw-dropper, not just acts like one. A powerful, fun supercar wrapped in a sexy package at a sports car price. What's wrong with that? They're already half way there!
Xiaomi EV is very good
Na try nyo na po ba mag apply ng SANGLA ORCR sa Global Dominion Financing, Inc.?
Hyundai N team are performance fanatics and know how to make exciting cars for driving enthusiasts. Their team is making the most exciting, performance geared, and technologically advanced cars. And there's so much more in the works
A classic example of how RUclips content creators don't seem to distinguish between reading manufacturing advertising versus journalism. There are no statistics, no evidence that the charging speed has truly improved no data, no nothing. This is not real journalism, this is simply carrying advertising for the manufacturer. And it should be skipped until it is more substantive.

Takin tips from elon musk on the vapourware train.... Utter nonsense lies. You just said "sound's top good to be true...?" We all know that if thats the case then 99% 0f the time - it is just that. Untrue. Edit: however, unlike the majority of commenters. I don't find it ugly, i find it a hark back to the e21, or 2002. Thank god the ginormous grill that keeps growing is dropped.
10 min to 100 percent? Doubt it. Continually supercharger batteries destroys them.
"just pull into a quick charging station..." IF you can find one near by... and IF it's working... and IF there isn't a queue waiting... My quarter-century old ICE 4WD fills in five minutes and I can travel 660 kms on that. AND filling costs less than what many charging stations charge.
Honestly, if that's how the car looks, it could refil the battery to 100 % in 90 seconds and I wouldn't drive it. That thing looks like its mother was drinking alcohol, smoking meth, and hitting coke while she was pregnant.
Seriously disgenic, I agree.
10 min charge..Bullsh8t
It's indescribably ugly. Really.
Agree... how many prospective BMW EV buyers would want to be seen in that!
Selling too well. They can't make it fast enough
Just calm down. We all know Elon Musk is a 6-year-old genius trapped in an adult body but mainly wanting to play with rockets and go to Mars. I've got two Teslas (mainly because of the Supercharger network) and I just took a 2,400 mile trip in one of them. No problem. Let's just wait and see how this evolves. In the meantime, if you can charge at home or at work, there's really not much of an issue with Superchargers. Somebody else will save that infrastructure if the Muskmeister doesn't. Time for GM, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Kia and Toyota to get into this thing in a BIG WAY. Using, of course, NACS chargers in North America.
Jaguar, welcome to 2012… You’re about 12 years late to the game.
Sorry, but you do not have a clue what a Supercar price is. $125k buys you NOTHING, in devalued, 2024, Idiot Joe Biden, Devalued dollars. There are commoner Mercedeses selling for two and three times that, if you add the options.
Sorry. If it hasn't got the magnificent five litre V8, I am not interested. I will stick with my f Pace SVR. If Jaguar doesn't retain this engine I will look to a different brand.
LOL NOT ELECTRIC ... ITS A BATTERY CAR NOT ELECTRIC !!! WHAT A BUNCH OF BATTERY CRAP ... BATTERY BATTERY BATTERY CAR B - V !!! BATTERY VEHICLES B.V. I challenge the US to ban all imports from China and see what happens to the lives of the American people. Hahahahaha hahahahahahaha
This is so sad. They are caving into the oil-company propaganda and anti-EV FUD. I dropped an ICE for my '22 Mach-e and have already surpassed 30.000 miles. Not going to buy a new ICE ever again, unless it is a classic, like a LS 400, Corvair or '67-'69 Mustang.
Who cares?
My cousin works for the EPA and he says that he’s seen Chevy and GM executives hang out with the board of the EPA. Good old American business like everything else. CROOKS
Look at that beautiful fastback design! Late 30s 40s and 60s!! Lose that stupid spoiler! nobody seems to understand that it spoils your drag coefficient! In other words, it kills your fuel mileage or battery mileage! Dummies think it looks cool but it is totally inefficient and unnecessary! This is a good step in the right direction! 💙💙💙
If their battery is as bad as your English, it will fail as they always do.
The older LFP standard range had a closer to 250 something real world range. The new 2024 lfp is closer to the 270 rating in real world.
"FULL SELF DRIVING" HAS ALWAYS BEEN A LIE. IT WAS MUSK'S WAY OF ARTIFICIALLY BOOSTING SHARE VALUE SO HE COULD "PUMP AND DUMP" THE SHARE PRICE PRIOR TO CASHING IN AND DUMPING A HUGE PORTION OF HIS SHARES. MUSK BELONGS IN PRISON.
The ICE manufacturers are dam either way. Mean while Tesla will constantly improve in all aspects of EVs. The real future for Tesla is not in EVs it is robots and AI.
You jumped the gun with your analysis, Elon is spending $500M on Superchargers and not abandoning them to be taken over by BP. Everyone thinks they're an expert when it comes to Tesla... except they aren't.
"As soon as next week"......meaning maybe in ten years....maybe.
This point of evolution is infancy. I would not gamble my life with this just born control system .
This is a lie. Tesla's FSD protocol requires hands on the wheel.
CATL is saying they have a new battery which can power a car over 600 miles and charge in 10 minutes with sufficient power input. IF true, it will change the world.
I am predicting that Tesla chargers are going to become less reliable and crowded now that they’re being opened up to other manufacturers. This will Tesla’s reputation and peoples willingness to buy an EV from them. Elon Elon knows how to take a good thing and screw it up, at least that’s what a little bird twittered in my ear.
Tesla is only slowing down, because Musk does not see the need anymore to develop the EV charger infrastructure. It costs a lot, and the current infrastructure is enough to earn money from external car owners. Moreover, current technology (V4) is good enough for the upcoming 10 years, so Tesla has no need to invest in further updates. After 10 years Tesla might look for new people to develop further. And in the US car manufacturers have switched to Teslas NACS System. So not so surprizing for me at all. Maybe good to also take a look at this video from Munro Live: ruclips.net/video/zl4VjvZu5os/видео.html
Let BP waste money then learn a lesson Tesla already learned.
Just adjust the interval to a longer period. Seems like it's every 30 seconds now. BTW I never nudge the wheel but instead roll the volume thumb wheel.
Tesla had a huge market advantage by being an early bird of the EV industry. But they've made poor investment in their R&D and product catalogue. Now that both Western and Eastern car makers are entering the EV scene, it looks like Tesla is struggling to keep up. I won't be surprised if they keep losing market share to the newcomers.
Almost as if the company was started by innovators, and then taken over by a con-artist, who could only fool the world for so long, without having any _actual_ leadership-qualities…
Interesting, which company increased market shares to Tesla? Tesla is still overselling at a factor of 5:1 to any EV company except BYD where it is 1/2:1
@@marcusbiller867 "Interesting, which company increased market shares to Tesla?" They all have. "According to analyses by Cox Automotive, Tesla sales accounted for 55% of all EVs sold in the US in 2023, down from 62% in 2022. At the start of the year in Q1 2022, Tesla had a 75% EV market share in America. In Q1 2024, Tesla is down to 52% of EV market share in America." "Tesla is still overselling at a factor of 5:1 to any EV company" Statistics are fun. You can sell (way) more than any individual manufacturer and still sell less than the other manufacturers combined. The combined market is growing at a rate that Tesla cannot possibly compete with. This charger thing is not going to help Tesla sales at all, Tesla owners know that the world basically hates them so they are potentially scared that the chargers are going to be replaced with a different brand that might do what Tesla did to them: make their chargers exclusive to anything but Tesla's.
"Tesla had a huge market advantage by being an early bird of the EV industry. " Funny thing; if you look back in history: Other companies were selling EV's many many years before Musk even heard of Tesla. Tesla was not an early adaptor in any sense of the word. The only thing they did was make a sexy car and sell it as a phallic symbol to their cult members. Yes that is what happened, just like with the cybertruck today; the first Tesla's were bodged together, sometimes literally, and only the cult would still buy it and insist it's a great car. Anybody who is not in the cult won't buy Tesla because as cars go, and for the price, you can get so much better. Last week a guy got into his cybertruck, brushed his leg against the metal of the door and got a cut so deep it needed stiches. His response: "totally my fault, I should have been more careful". Let me repeat that: he got into his car and that resulted in needing stiches and he blames himself for not being more careful around a *car door*. No he didn't slam his leg when closing it, his leg brushed the metal edge and it cut him and he says it's HIS fault. Cult.
