    Why you do a whiff MP after the sweep and before chargin the fireball?

    • @mightymaz966
      @mightymaz966 3 года назад

      It’s to time the fire ball in relation to the opponent rising, in order to guard break.

    Thanks for the video! Could you explain how you do those combos, especially how to make a HP followed by an uppercut or how you start an uppercut and, before Ryu jumps, the uppercut stops and you start a finish hadoken? Is there any shortcuts? Where can I find some explanations for this? Thanks.

    • @chadegu
      @chadegu 4 года назад

      It's buffering, but is widely known as an Option Select (OS). You basically do the full sequence, stLK>EX Tatsu but barely out of range. If they block, you whiff but you'll recover fast. If they push a button and spaced correctly, you automatically connect the LK+EX Tatsu.

    Smart to explain what Tiger Knees are. I've also played UNIST, and a huge part of Nanase is her projectile. However, it's air only, so if you can't TK it you're gonna struggle. Point being that they're very useful to know for many different games.

      The meta is the strategies deemed to be strongest in the game and are typically always used at the top level.

    Hey Oki, great video. I have been playing Street Fighter as Ken mostly since the days of arcade, and it is a constant learning experience. I particularly enjoyed your section on fireballs. As the great Bruce Lee once said "Research your own experience. Absorb what is useful." Great video.
