I have tried so many times and failed
May mga paaran po ba paano to alagaan dito since need nila cold climate?
Sure wish you did this in the English language. Is this done in the spring time? Are you just soaking the cuttings in water and for how long? Do you keep them in the sun after you put them in soil & how often do you water them? How long does it take for them to root enough to be repotted? Thanks for the video. Very cool if they grow.
Use google app to translate your english to "tagalog" phillipine and he might respond
Ako palang nag comment. Mag subscribe na ko. More power po... Penge po seeds ng jrp at jwp. Meron na kasi ako mga JBP na seedlings at mga Yr old saka 2yrs old.
Sorry po sa late reply. Wala po ako Red and White Pines.
Awesome
Hey i put my jbp's outside during the rainy season and i also make branch cutting during that season, and now mu jbp is dead 😅, do you have idea why my jbp is dead? Is it because i put my jbp outside during the rainy season or because i did cut branches on rainy season. Thanks a lot and cheers from indonesia🙏
I don't really know what happened coz i didn't see your JBP. It could be that you've done too much cutting. Or you have cut the branches and leave no needles on the remaining branch. If a branch loses all the needles, it will die.
If you spoke this channel would be awesome.😊
I make it with sand, in the spring.
From my exp. JBP trees easily stressed when repotted. It start to brown from the bottom of the trees and eventually died.
I never experienced that mate. Young Japanese Black Pine is actually very hardy. I can take them out of the soil, place on the counter overnight, and plant the next day and still will survive
7 weeks to germinate thats a long wait. Great video very detailed.
These are my first batches of seeds. The longer i did it, the more experience i got including the best time to sow. My best time ever to germinate seeds is just 2 days.
a man after my own heart
I'm doing this with Japanese White Pine and without rooting hormones. and also I didn't removed bottom needles. Yeah I missed many steps. but it's just for fun.
Have you got any root success with your cuttings yet? Same here. everything just happened accidentally. i didn't learn this technique. I just discovered it all by accident.
@@brothersaisworkshop6461 unfortunately all dead. It was too wet. It rotted😄
@@유지태-l9s Try again. Use mediums like river sand or perlite. Something that have a good draining property.
Master, How long have you been doing bonsai?
I been doing bonsai since 1998, but i stopped in 2011 and just recently came back again in 2019
Ang galing naman
Teynk you po ❤️
Thanks for the video very useful, just recently got a hold of 500 jbp seeds i know i cant sow them all at once i just wanna know how do you store your seeds and how long are they good for once stored
So sorry for the late reply mate. I store my seeds in the lower drawer of the refrigerator. I can keep them there for at least a year if I'm not yet ready to sow them
Nice, here in Florida I get 4 tiers of branches within a year at only 6 inches tall
That's good
from where u get those seeds
I just bought them from ebay
Hi, thanks for the video, is interesting. From where are you doing this? I ask thinking about seasons, I suppose in North hemisphere.
I'm in the southern hemisphere. Australia. I do this when candles are available which is spring.
this really interests me. could this have English subtitltes please
I will try mate. I have actually made this videos just for Filipino bonsai enthusiasts. I didn't realize that people will be watching them too!
I'm just trying to share some informations about Japanese Black pine to Philippines since they are just starting with this specie there
Siguro mga 2 months old
Sorry po sa late reply 😃
Ayus sir ..... May paraan na ako ... Ganito pala ang pag tatanim....tank you for sharing.....
Salamat po 😊
do you know if this will work with scots pine as this is a common pine where I live in England. by the way I am green with envy at all those black pines you have. great job.
I haven't done this to any other pines except Japanese Black Pine. But I'm sure it will work on a Scots pine. Have a go. There's only one way to find out!
Dami ng block pine .....
Nice sir...
Salamat po 😊
Here in Florida, at 12 weeks I have 2 flush of branches and 6 inches of growth. Great job! I have 33 yrs in Bonsai and now just mostly grow JBP's. Liked and Subbed! I also used CO2 and a hydroponics system and they get 17 hours of light for 8 weeks, then straight to a pot and 12 hours of Florida Sun. My plan is to bring 30 to the Florida Bonsai Society Convention in 2025 and just blow everyone away with these. Use more lava/pumice for better root division or use wool cubes. My cuttings have over 20 roots on each one, but I only use the wool cubes. You can use them without a hydro system. You will be happy you did. I have tried everything, as I am as facinated by JBP's as you are :) I am also 62 now and retired and live to grow the best JBP's.
Thanks! I'm so glad to know about your success in propating jbp cuttings. I'm happy to learn a few tips from you. Here in Australia, i was one of the first who have done it and shared the technique with everyone. Jbp seeds are very hard to source here so by learning this technique, there will be another option
How easy is it to remove the rock wool from the roots, once you get the nebari you want to plant in another medium or do you just grow it out.
Sarap niyan Boss 😋🥰😊
Napanood mo na pala maam 😂😂
Ahhh don’t you just love pines . I think the world could use more
Just sitting surrounded by pines in my tiny nursery is already a kind of relaxation therapy for me 😊
Will you speak on how you 1st propergated the candles, and would it be possible with a branch?? Thanks in advance and new to your channel.. 👍
Spring candles will be the best to propagate. Just harvest them from the tree when they're starting to bloom around mid spring. Dip in rooting hormone and plant. Must place them in a well shaded spot. Branches are better airlayered than plant as cuttings. Pines rarely strike roots from hardwood through cutting propagation
Good day sir Sai, tanong ko lang if you can sell jbp seeds to me? by the way its nice to know na pwede maka produce mg cuttings from the candles, sana mas marami ka oang matulungan at ma educate specially about jbp
Nagbibenta din po sya ng Japanese Black Pine seeds ngayon all the way from UK. Ipapadala nya po sa pinas
Ang galing naman.. Mahal Kaya ng bunsai na halaman
Nice... but we don’t need to count them... we believe you
Sorry to show you the counting part. You can always fast forward if you find the part of the video boring. I normally count how many seeds goes into each tray to balance the spacing and not getting over crowded.
Pangarap na material sir. Sana may mabilan Ng seeds dito sa pinas. 😁

Kaya ako nagsi share base sa natututunan ko being more on Japanese Black Pine and being a grower na din
Nagbibenta din po sya ng Japanese Black Pine seeds ngayon all the way from UK.
Mag dilig once a day.
Wag po muna magisip about bonsai. Ilagay sa location na may at least 4 hours a day sunlight at diligan once a day.
B0g@n bro lol
I don't mind having this trouble in a pub, but at a vietnamese bakery buying meat pie?!
Hey I’ve planted JBP last year and they came up but haven’t grown over 3-4 inches
You mean, they've died?
so cute naman..🥰
Teynk you po 😊
saan po kau banda sa pinas?
Sa Australia po ako
Wow how cute bird
It is you!!!!😂😂

Hola, que sustrato tienen ? Saludos
For substrate, i use a mixture of pine bark, compost soil with coarse texture, pumice, charcoal nuggets, sand, and scoria. Mix it all together and adjust so the resulting mixture will be dry and not wet
@@brothersaisworkshop6461 ok, gracias y saludos
Thanks for you comment. I hope that i have helped you with my answer.
Thanks for your sharing beautiful video. How many trees are they ?
@@HuyrauAus At the moment, i have 800 seedlings all together. 200 of the 2+ years old, 450 of the 1+ year old, and 150 of the 4 months old. I keep sowing seeds every spring, but this year, because of the La Nina, i've only managed to germinate around 150, but most of those are the Mikawa variety, which is still good
May online shop ka? Or nagship ka ba to Melbourne?
