Busy Bees! SabreCON 2 Update - May 7
Просмотров 57Год назад
I wanted to share a moment from our build day today, as I haven’t put out a build-bytes update in a while and I had a cool moment happen for me today (after a very cool weekend:). I noticed a bee searching for pollen today in the grass - they are hungry as not much has bloomed yet! I am of Slovenian decent and many honeybees around here originate from the Carniolan region of Slovenia. It is sig...

Fantastic video and instruction, thank you very much!
Great video, needed this thank you!
iMovie still doesn't have auto sync? Isn't that depressing.
howcome you're using what looks like a breathable membrane over a layer of felt ? isn't the purpose of that black strip to apply a little bitchumen to bond the next sheet of felt too without ending up with it all over the visible roof ?
Now that video was very instructional. I just replaced some of my fascia and subfascia and did not know how to align it. Now I will tear it out and do it again to make it right. Thanks
Thanks very much!
I know I’m 2 yrs late but seriously this is the best thing I’ve seen from American carpenters… light duty platform and scaffold to erect fascia… safe and secure and accessible. Mate you’re the best. I wish more carpenters in the US did this on every jib. 🥇✌️
Just bough a DeWalt miter saw and I had experience with a table saw but figured all tools have their tricks so watched this and it was really helpful, thank you
Then when adding faucet you have somewhere to go off of
❤
so if it's on TOP that's taken as the 'real' video?
Thanks so much. I was looking for this kind of tutorial. Great job, Joseph.

Dude this was really helpful thank you!
1:00 you love to see it 😂
Should have put a bevel on it
I'm in favor of beveled facia also. Isn't that Sharpie marker too broad for accurate measurements ?

Thanks for the video. But that’s the easy part. If you detach the audio, is there a way to delete the main clip and use the second camera angle and the original detached audio for the movie? Even if the second camera angle is the entire length of the audio every time I delete the main camera angle it all gets deleted. You can't do things like transitions to the second camera angle. Thanks! Blue Has anyone figured this out?
If the clip is still over the detached audio, and you delete the clip, the audio will disappear as well. You must detach the audio and move the clip completely off of it. You could add the main clip again onto the timeline, after your edited piece, detach that audio, delete the original clip, and just slide the newly detached audio under the edited piece, then just delete the newly added clip, which is in the wrong place anyways, and of course turn off the sound of the once top layer. If that makes any sense. To get the top layer to have fades, there is a fade slider next to the opacity slider when you hit the cut-away function.
Nice video! Direct and to the point. Thanks.

Is this a school that teaches carpentry or something?
Being a roofer for 36 years, I find it difficult to hold my comments when I witness someone in a "teaching" position, and has good intentions, but has less than a journeyman's skill set. Not intending to take away from anyone's credibility. If the intent of this video is to instruct the use of hammer tacking basics, then a variety of tackers should be shown, with a variety of installations. Not to be installed with materials conflicting with each other, and certainly not without knowing the products of which one is working with.
Just saw this comment now. Make a better video and I will use it in my classroom and credit you... in the mean time, visit your local high school, see what we are working with for tools/budgets/materials, and then consider volunteering to raise the standard of instruction. I'm all for that... and I'm doing my best here...
What is the model/ brand of that tack hammer?
@@josephschulte9672 As a person without knowledge, your video seemed good enough to understand. I tip my hat to you for doing what you do. must not be easy to teach youngsters and especially if you have budget constraints!
Thank you for showing me how to load my brand new Hammer Tacker with little instructions.
Very good good videos brother thanks new. Subscriber
Disliked. Get ratioed.
Best explanation I’ve seen,thanks man.
thanks a lot!
Is this very costly ? Can be used for cutting plastic ?
Thanks for this, found it really helpful. What a nice 'hack'!
Why is most editing software so mind blowingly impractical at multi angle editing? It is a basic requirement surely
in adobe premiere you can use plural eyes to do audio synching
And in Final Cut, "Create Multicam" automatically syncs the audio of every selected clip, and creates a multicam where you can really easily switch angles. I wish that feature was in iMovie (I often have to teach kids on free programs), but here we are.
Hello! This is really cool! The skit at 1:12 is my fav. You have to connect with Bad Friends! Their vlogs hella are like Yes Theory mixed with a lil bit of MrBeast! They are the most hilarious team of vloggers in the world and they do pranks in every vid! Go check out their YT out and give the team a subscribe! 👉 #BadFriendBaddies
Thank you! I messed up a PDF and you just saved me with this quick tip at the end with restoring previous versions!
Very helpful! Thank you!
Cool but if this was a music performance the audio sync would be less forgiving. I notice that when I try to line up audio from two tracks with claps the track I move seems to snap to the next point rather than slide. Does that make sense? Makes it tougher to align the two perfectly.
Is there a way to make the transition (in your 2 camera method shown) from 1 view to the other Cross Dissolve?
Yes, there is a fade controller slider next to the opacity slider when you hit the cut-away function.
but how do you merge for example two sides of the same video interview where you've got video feed of each but they need to come together? is there an easy way to do this? Thanks!!
Worked great, thanks just what I needed to do.
why not just use the audio from one video, and then use the cuts just as video? That way you don't have to sync up the audio.
I thought that's what he was doing. My impression was (and I'm new to this, so I could be wrong) is that he was using the visual representation of the audio waves as a highly accurate way of syncing the two videos, even though he was completely discarding the audio from the second source.
the reason for doing this is so that you DONT get the stupid chinese dubbing effect where the mouth is moving and the audio does not match the mouth. its pretty obvious ffs. You legit gotta ask that question bro ????
I cannot for the life of me find the lasso tool. When I use the rectangle crop tool I cant get it to appear on another document. My preview is version 10.0 and running high sierra.
I am very much thankful to you for sharing this video. :) very soon you'll be able to see such work in my videos on my channel.
piece of shit, imovie really don't have any auto sync option ?!
SchulTechno please do a gift card giveaway on your new Minecraft Let's Play
How do you get to see the clips you've imported from your desktop into your project librairy to contain the bottom sound graphics?
right top left of the timeline it says 'settings'. Click on that, and tick the box 'audio: show waveforms'
thanks Dude!
I found the latter helpful. Although the beginning was confusing.
WoW great video! Keep up the good work :)
very confusing explanation. Not at all objective.
This is not practical, adobe sync automatically
Does this work with other’s photos?
