I know exactly how you feel. I've gone through about 3-4 boy cut chops in about 10 years. I do miss my long hair though. Yours looks lush!

Well done my lovely! This is so motivating because it's juts real, not like those other channels where everything seems perfect. Same thing happens to me on the mood changes, the energy comes and goes as it pleases, so if it's 2 am and you feel like getting up and cleaning, then hey, so be it.

I am so happy your video popped up!! I thank you so much for posting this. I've been dealing with severe Adhd my whole life. The older i get, the worse it has gotten. Everything you've said is exactly what I've been going through. Spot-on!! I feel so alone cleaning during the middle of the night while the rest of the house is sleeping. I also clean during the day, but since I can never finish completing a task, It's a horrible cycle of worrying and no sleep. Thank you again, and explaining to others how ADHD can affect them.

I always keep a couple of jars on hand for my grease. Never down the drain. I think you can buy something to harding it up.

One step at a time. Laundry has always and presently is the hardest part for me. My kids and I found a really clean and well kept laundromat and sometimes we skip the at home washer and dryer and go knock it out there. It’s actually therapeutic 😊 Anyhow, new subbie. Some people use the scotch Brite brush inside while showering filled with dawn dish soap and vinegar. I have not tried it while showering but for fast cleans yes it works. I prefer bleach in tubs. Just be careful with lysol and bleach together due to fumes like ammonia n bleach they don't mix

I use a scotch Brite tub scrubber and a sponge with gloves.

Start with small tasks and establish a routine even if its small.

I've been trying to keep my dishes and home under control.

I had my depression under control until covid hit me for the 1st time during the pandemic. I've been struggling with acid reflux, plantar fasicitis and joint pain. 😫 I get fatigued 😩 and annoyed very fast. Depression is not laziness we really want to accomplish things we just need encouragement and a reason to keep going. On top of all this I recently lost a niece two months ago 💔 and it's been hard just getting out of bed.

Sounds like pre-menopause. Have a doctor look into your hormone levels and do a lot of reading.

Hi, just came across your page. Keep going, I struggle with anxiety and depression also. Cleaning is therapeutic for me but sometimes it gets hard to get going. Sending prayers your way darling. Great job!

Nice job! Sometimes those late night cleaning sessions are quicker and easier. No interruptions. I call this a series of room rescues. I try to do a nightly walk-thru to set things right. I’m retired now. I deal with my fair share of depression, anxiety and probably ADHD. I rely on a list of short routine checklists. I keep them in my phone. Without checking thru the lists - I’ll forget meds, or forget to do a simple task until it’s late in the day and I’m too tired. I’m easily distracted - so I’ll intend to do “A” but get side-tracked and do “Q”. ▫️For the 16 year old taking out the trash… try doing some troubleshooting with him. Have a conversation with him about why he doesn’t just do it without being asked. Does he forget? Is it a hassle - with the trash can not being easily accessible - or dirty so he doesn’t want to get dirty when he’s on his way to school? Or, is he just being lazy knowing Mom will do it anyway and not really hassle him about it because she feels like giving him a break because he’s a good kid who goes to school and work, etc. Could you be giving him mixed messages without realizing it? I’m betting he just forgets. ▫️All of these issues can be fixed. Solve the problem. If he’s just forgetting - work with him on a way to remember. A big note on the door. Or, tie the task to another habit. (When I put on my shoes - I go take out the trash.) Move the trash can to be more accessible outside. Or have him wash it really good. And, make sure your expectation of him is clear and consistent. Do you want him to take it out daily? Does he need to carry it to the curb in certain days? ▫️For the dishes - your pre-washing method is more work than you need to do. But, I get it. It’s likely a habit. Try just scraping the food off. But, be sure you’re loading it right so the water spray can reach them good - and clean the filter regularly. Check your machine’s manual. You can find them online.

Dishwashers do not clean effectively if you wash dishes before putting them in machine...the detergent will just slide right off dishes...the machine must have food and debris on dishes for the detergent to work properly

I did when my kids were little. Just an idea, if u take a self to Menards or hardware store; u can have them cut you more selves to add to bookcase. Also, pegs or hardware u need to add the selves.
