This brings back memories. I did a similar tour back in 2014. You certainly for a better day than me weather wise. I remembered the church you visited and the fort on the hill you can see from the ferry. Great trip 👍

I really enjoyed your visit to Shobdon and the river Arrow. Both brought back memories. My dad (Terry Jickells) was part of the small group that started the parachute club there. He was an SAS skydiver and trained many civilian's there along with Mac Mccarthy - look them both up adding Shobdon. Yeah, some good memories when young there. It was a busy place. Re-the arrow Paul and I hiked it in 2013 from source. It is lovely. You guys looked to have fun - beautiful photos. Mark
