Mudding Matriarch

We are a CanAm Family that includes 2023 CanAm Outlander 850 XMR, 2022 CanAm Renegade XXC 1000, 2019 CanAm Maverick X3 1000 turbo R and a CanAm DS 90. Follow/Subscribe for the Oppps, Flying mud and adventures. Nothing like a good ole’ time out on the trails and pits with friends and the Murphy family!
Background:
I was born and raised in and around St. Augustine Florida. I grew up in the woods and always had a passion for off road vehicles including Megas and Monsters. I love being in the mud and supporting my fellow riders! I’m 33 and started about two years ago with an Older Yamaha Kodiak, needless to say I blew her up. Since getting the CanAm Outlander I have learned a lot about the machine and riding in terms of technique and limits. I’m learning new stuff all the time and want to share with you! At night I’m a Medical Nurse at local hospital!

After a total swamping back in October 2023 we had a new motor put in. Drove it on and off for short time and in May 2024 at Busch Beach, NC the belt shredded! Since May the machine has been sitting. Finally brought to our very good friend at MSC ATV repair (Michael Conn) and he worked his magic as the STM primary had welded itself to the shaft. X3 secondary stuck from belt blowing!

Unfortunately with how our primary was rebuilt it is causing too much tension and heat which is why we blew this belt. The secondary got stuck with all the debris and had to take down to one of the Vendors at Busco (Carolina Custom ATV). Got the secondary released however due to weight issues it cracked the primary bearing. Clutches are tricky and need to make sure you have guys who know how to...
