I am afraid if i crochet into that chain 1 stich it will affect the shape making it wider. Also, should make that chain 1 every single time ?

I think you should use an iron hook and not a plastic one to make it easier for you to work. I used two T-shirt yarn with the iron hook and it was easy to use 🫶🏽

This was very helpful. I only wish the camera angles showed everything (like when you demonstrated the chain 3) because your method is the most clear I've seen. I've always had a hard time learning to crochet, and the speed and simplicity you use here are so helpful! Im sure you'll correct the camera angles if you continue making tutorials. How can i change sides properly? When I turn my work to make another row and the wrong side faces me, my right side will become the wrong side. Even if I try to pull the yarn back it looks ugly, and if I float it it will show on the right side. I do not know what to do!
