thankyou for making this
Gratuluję ! Czy powiesz jaki cylinder założyłbyś w drzwiach swojego domu ? Pozdrawiam
This is the most intense/ relaxing lock sport video I've ever seen. Well done
I have one of these in a padlock that I am banging my head against the wall to open. I am now going through all the U9 videos trying to see what I am missing. It is making me question my skills as a lock picker.
I couldnt do that and in guesing no crack addict could either
I have this lock with a thumb turn on the inside. When I slot the cylinder in from the inside, I can’t slide it through the lock as those two balls sticking on each side of the cylinder stop it. Any ideas on how I should fit this? Thanks in advance.
Is it possible to first pick one side completely, for example the right side, and then pick the other side? If its possible do you think this way is easier or more difficult?
It depends on the binding order of the levers it is possible for one side to bind first but I don't think it would make picking it easier
Excellent pick Master 👍🔓🌐🥇
You did a really good job on this lock. The subtitles are very helpful. 😁
Please rank the following cylinders according to their safety: EVVA 4KS EVVA ICS EVVA MCS DOM Twinstar DOM Diamant Abloy Protec2 Drumm Geminy
Can you offer any advice on how to pick these Yale 1 stars ? I have 3 that I've had for about 2 months and am struggling.
I start with the back pin on yale locks and usually get a slight false set or you can use a rake to get into a false set. After that check each pin for feedback from the spool pins using moderate tension and try and set the pin with the best feedback, don't try to force a pin without any feedback. It takes some time to get a good feel for the feedback on yale locks.
Thank you so much for showing the internal order of how the key works, the inside of my lock broke and I fixed it from this video. So thanks very much
Try to pick the real door without good lighting and perform 4 turns of lock
Try to pick like he minimum :))
Hi! Where you bought this Fichet Bauche m2b ?
Does this cylinder have the emergency and danger function? Can I unlock the cylinder from the outside while a key is inserted on the inside?
I think so this one has the thumb turn on the inside it will still operate after a snap attack. I'm more interested in picking then destructive entry so I don't know to much about the lock features. Thanks for watching 👍
@@stevedynamics860 Would you recommend putting this cylinder on a front door? I'm looking for a cylinder that's hard to pick in the field and that also can't be snapped as I've heard that snapping is the method that most burglars use to get in.
@@johnsmall3105 it's a good lock has a 3 star rating it has trap pins so if someone picks it the trap pins will engage stopping the core from turning. If it's snapped it will stay locked and can still be operated from the inside. If your in the UK any 3 star lock is your best option.
Very interesting mechanism, thanks for showcasing it! And of course nice picking (:
Thanks Federico hope your keeping well 👍
These are very cool locks and very secure indeed. When you consider having to pick it 8 times just to get one rotation, a lock pickers nightmare 🤣. I like the fact that it's shielded with the outer rings so you couldn't get a plug spinner in. Awesome picking Steve.
Thanks Roy I've been out of the picking loop for a while I need to try and get back into it I haven't seen those shield padlocks before I'm going to watch your video on them 👍
On the manufacturer's web page it says the following about the pulling and snapping protection of this lock: "Hard metal control bars and its modular design (SY-MO) offer effective protection against pulling and snapping attempts." Do you know if this type of pulling and snapping protection is good enough to prevent pulling and snapping attempts?
Nice cube..😉
Very nice video. fantastic explanation as you work your way through the pins and each stage of them setting. It's so good to be able to see what you are describing, visually excellent video Steve with just as equal commentary. Cheers buddy, fantastic video.
Thanks Roy I see alot of people having trouble with picking barrel pins so I thought this would help 👍
Nice complete and descriptive you can tell someone this but only showing it really sinks in! thanks SD!
Biggus Diskus lol :)
incontinentia buttocks 😄
Great pick!! On mine I was able to set the last disk and then go back through for the stack and didn't have to revist it for the open. I hope I had the spring in correctly. I didn't really have to let off tension much to get out of false gates though either so it may have stayed set. Really fun lock. Thanks for sharing.
It's a nice lock to pick gives good feedback dd picking isn't my strongest I have an abloy sentry that I can't get anywhere with I'll check out your videos for tips thanks for watching 👍
Quality picking as always Steve. A tough little lock, then again you would expect that with a safety deposit box lock. 🙂👍🏻
Thanks Roy I was just watching the chrome book cupboard pick it definitely needs an upgraded lock 👍
AYYE - Great picking man! Robur is a mean little lock 🔥🥊
Thank you it was alot tougher then I expected thanks for watching 👍
@@stevedynamics860 No kidding, those tolerances are tight and only 1 direction of rotation!
Hi Steve, I totally agree, I think the super strong spring is the best anti pick feature. Just curious why the key has bitting both sides?
The second bitting doesn't seem to do anything on this lock I think there might have been another lock in the set that has a double locking mechanism so you would have to pick it twice to open.
@@stevedynamics860 That makes sense. Scary looking key with double bitting 🤣👍🏻
@@roysammons2445 I had another look at the key on this and I think the bitting is on the other side to keep the levers aligned because of the 1 large spring that covers all the levers if each lever had it's own spring it wouldn't need the mirrored bitting.
Ah, a fellow cuber and lockpicker 👍
So was this just to show that the uploader had achieved this, and that no unusual picking method was needed?
Imagine this lock being attached to one of those bolts that has to be fully rotated twice or even 3 times to get the bolt to fully open. You would be there quite a while. Very well done Steve 🙂👍🏻
Thanks Roy it was an interesting lock to learn to pick it's not to challenging but it would take to long to pick a full 360.

Great picking, lovely solid clicks. By the looks and sounds of this lock it's a very robust lock. The sound as it snapped back into place is crazy, great lock. Cheers for sharing this one with us Steve.
Thanks Roy it gives very strong feedback a really nice lock to pick.
Treemendous stuff SD thanks and your presentation rocks covered every detail!
Thank you
Well done Steve! Glad to hear you talking, cheers mate 🍻
Thanks Plazz I saw your abloy pic today very cool 😎
@@stevedynamics860 Thanks Steve, I have also managed to record and publish today. I do reccomend picking up abloy at some point, making a pick and picking it was such a satisfying journey!
Great pic job!
Fantastic picking Steve as always. Very tricky lock watching you continually switching pins. These are crazy secure locks and as you mentioned in your video, very frustrating to learn. Cheers Steve and keep em' coming buddy, it's fascinating watching you tackle each one.
Thanks Roy it was a tough lock to pick and thank you for your support 🙏 👍
Great pick always my friend. I be sending your parcel off in a week time when I get paid . I put 2 rosengren dd safe deposit locks to lend as well. So when picked send back to me . Just getting time to do YT is tricky as my kids come first. Have a great weekend Steve.👍
No worries on the parcel the stuff I sent on was a gift hope to see you back picking soon 👍
Sorry if that came across wrong I said gift because I don't expect anything back so you don't feel pressured to send anything 😅
@@stevedynamics860 i what to send the Ross safe locks because I picked them and rather go to another picker and I no you are more than capable of the job. The reason I what to send the rosegren dd locks is one needs rekeying I haven’t time after my kids mess discs up when I was making a tool. Ones a old one the other is a newer one which is working fine. So you would be helping me out. So please accept challenge. lol.
@@JONSLOCKPICKING haha challenge accepted 😆
Cool intro and great picking mate! Cheers
Thanks Plazz 👍
Crazy bit of finesse picking going on there Steve. Those very tiny bounces on each pin, using delicate finesse past the counter milling. Beautiful pins too inside this Assa. Well recovered too from almost bricking the lock, I bet you were thinking "Oh no"! Thanks for sharing Steve, great to see a master picker at work. Oh and all that text is important to follow your progress. 🙂👍🏻
Thanks Roy I did feel a bit silly bouncing the pick like that 😄 but I tried different methods and they didn't work for me its a very rewarding lock to pick thanks for watching
Awesome precision man, astounding picking 💪 Well done on this one, is that the one I've sent you? Cheers
Thanks Plazz yep that's it I was cursing you for a while I didn't think I would get it picked it was very a long battle 👍
@@stevedynamics860 Sorry for that, I recently learned that some of those are easier than others and those I had definitely are hard. I still didn't pick mine, maybe I'll give it a shot soon. Awesome persistence on your part, I gave this battle up early
@@plazz7235 I progressively pinned it and I can't always pick it open this video was my best open.
Great job picking this one open Steve. You don't half push yourself with interesting locks. It's really interesting to see it in operation with the side bar removed. This one looks like quite a complicated lock to take apart, I don't blame you for only doing a semi gut. Cheers for sharing this one with us and showing us the strength of those Multipick flags 🤣. 🙂👍🏻
Thanks Roy I am hard on picks I haven't broken any multipick flags but I have broken other branded flags 😄👍
That looks like one evil lock. Great picking mate.
It was a nasty one I have enough of Japanese locks now for a while. Working on an assa 700 now I don't know why I do this to myself 😅
Hello Steve I haven’t forgot your locks. I have rosengren dd safe deposit lock that Iam getting on vid so I hope you haven’t got one? So hopefully next week I send your your bits and pieces. Just thought I keep you updated my friend. Still haven’t got around to picking your locks yet.
No worries Jon haven't pick it I'm working on a Goal v18 it's giving me alot of trouble 👍
Brilliant video and what a pick that turned out to be. You have the finesse of a surgeon or a watch maker. To remain silent all the way through that pick must take some quality control. I confess I might have let out a couple of "Oh for crying out loud" comments. This is a very well engineered lock and the build quality is amazing. Steve that was awesome🙂👍🏻
Thanks Roy there was alot of failed attempts with a few swear words thrown around haha 😄 thank you for the kind words hope you are keeping well.
Excellent picking Steve. They are a very tricky pick.👍
Cheers Jon I needed to take a break from picking for a few days after that one.
Very slick job Steve!
Great pick and great tool, will copy that when I get my hands on one of those. Sub'd.
Thanks crispix it's a nice lock to pick.
Awesome job picking this Dom DD lock. Very crafty making the last disk spring loaded. Vet cool video buddy.
Thanks Roy it's an interesting lock that spring loaded disk gave me trouble 😀
Great lock and excellent picking mate. Your parcel I send next week. Have a great weekend Steve.👍
It's a nice lock to pick tricky enough no worries on the parcel Jon have a good weekend.
How secure is the lock to tumbler extraction attacks?
is that the ts007 3 star one?
looks very similar to it, with the ext side and red locking tab.
It is but its the short cylinder with 5 pins instead of 7.
