The stupid thing is, you finally get optimisations, settings, hone stuff just right, then they release a patch to undo it all and make it 10x worse. Its like EA's hidden part of the game is to create puzzle challenges for us to stabilise their game

guys one tip i have if you getting random stutters is to change resolution and then change it back to origonal resolution fixed random jittery gameplay its not a permanent fix but worked for me

I don’t know if ea have done something like a silent patch but my Lag spikes and speed up lag has stopped completely today it hasn’t done it once, it usually lag spikes or micro jitters at least 4 times every match I play but today I haven’t experienced it

After months of problems, I finally was able to play stable just by putting the game at 1080 or 1440P 16:9 window borderless. If you play on 4k or ultrawide or anything else, game is unplayable

Honestly, after Title Update #7 the game didn't get any better, it just got worse. Before, I could at least play Rush more or less normally. Now, even in Rush, the game constantly freezes for 3-5 seconds, and my player runs into the wall. Previously, this happened in all modes except Rush (it was rare there), but now the game freezes in all modes even more often than before. FC 25 is the first FIFA I bought (on sale after Update #5), and probably the last.

The only thing that fixed it for me was formating the whole PC

I’ve been testing the game graphics settings after the updates and I’ve noticed that when I put my monitor on anything higher than 180hz my FPS drops like 20-30fps on 144hz refresh rate but if I set the monitor to 144hz I get 190-200hz on Medium settings. Still having a lot of microstutter on rtx4070-AMD Ryzen 7 7700x, I had the same issues last year. I tried all kinds of settings, high fps or low does not matter. Playing 1440p with a 165hz (180oc) monitor.

I found a fix for the refresh rate issue: 1. Go to the local appdata folder, hit windows button + R then type %localappdata% 2. Find the ‘EA Sports FC 25’ folder and click the fcsetup.ini config file look for refresh rate and change the value to your monitor’s refresh rate eg. REFRESH_RATE = X (X is your monitor’s refresh rate). Save. 3. For stuttering issues, turn on vsync in game and in nvidia control panel and put low latency mode on ultra if you have a good cpu if not leave off Note: In control panel, vsync fast or adaptive (try both to see what works).
