I have only made parts on the printer to replace parts which were missing from some of the kits. Otherwise two or three of these kits would just be boxes of scrap parts. The rest of the kits are now complete kits. The styrene of the kits is nicer to work with than they plastic used in FDM 3D printing. I do actually have many wagon kits I have designed and 3d printed in the past, too. Thank you for your suggestion though. 👍😊

Thank you for your kind words. They are great kits to build. Nice and simple which is what I need. I had not thought about welded panels on this one. I have done it on my 20T MDV or MDO fro Chivers Finelines. They are a nice kit BTW. £10 last time I bought one. I did not go for bearings on this kit as I noticed it had "compensation" slots instead of round pinpoint recesses.

I want planning on doing a video on it, as I normally paint them 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there, so the camera set up time can eat all the actual modelling time. One day when I get some more time, maybe!

@@dibsyardshuntinglayout no worries, that's fair enough - there's only so much time in the day and whatever you do share is a delight to watch. I don't have any Chivers Finelines kits, just Dapol, Parkside and Cambrian, but I've heard Chivers are good so I should have a look.

@@jamfjord definitely do a Chivers MDO or MDV if it will fit your railway. Couple with H&A brass bearings and Dapol wheels. Lovely kit.
