Was in a mineshaft on adamance with some friends, I hear one shouting and go towards the noise. When I get closer I hear a jester winding so I shout "Good luck!" and book it back towards the elevator where a different friend was waiting. We waited at the elevator for a good 5 seconds, waiting for someone who would never arrive before we declared them a goner and went up.

i genuinely believe the coil head is one of the most well made enemies in the horror genre. the spring bobbling as an indicator of its movement is terrifying and does an excellent job at conveying its speed

I once tried a solo run of LC. I’m terrible with jumpscares, and sound is something that I’m particularly sensitive to. Entered a door to a dark walkway, I hear ‘longroar1’, turn to see a Thumper charging me from the darkness, and I quit right there.
