What's the cleaning stuff called?

my psu have only one 6pin pcie connector and i want to connect it to gtx 1650 which have 8pin connector and uses upto 90w. so is 6pin to 8pin converter adapter is safe or not??

Dyson knew exactly what it was doing when it glued down that side. Not nice when manufacturers deliberately make things difficult to repair by its consumers. 🧐

Would heat, from a heat gun, help with removing the cover on the screen side? Or possibly making it cold, placing it in the freezer? What is holding it, glue or some sticky tape? I may have to take mine apart, as the bearing is locked, or some thing is locked up, and I’d like to not damage it.

So I think the internet is worth its weight in gold for tips like this, my tip if the music speakers in the back are suddenly off, the tailgate doesn't close, the left door window, etc. Wiring harness for the left rear door can also be on the right but for some inexplicable reason it's usually on the left. I have it I can't believe that 5-6 cables were ripped off

I just bought the GTX 1070 KATANA but for some reason my pc not detecting the graphics card. The graphics card uses 6 pins with extra 2 (6+2). If I plug in the the six pins it tells me to PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT PCIe POWER CABLEs FOR THIS GRAPHICS CARD. And when do connect the extra it displays nothing. The pc don’t even detect the graphics. Can someone please advice or give me a solution ? Thanks

Great Video Dimcho! Unfortunately my problem was that the bearings on the brush shaft were bad ,but I do have a question for you , I have a Dyson DC11 brush head and can't find parts for, can I use the same Drive out of a Dyson Purple Animal Vacuum Mini Turbine Head and just swap them ?

My PSU from 8 years ago came with a plethora of extra cables, including several spare 6 and 8 pin connectors... I think until just this moment, I assumed they all came with that much, haha. Well, that PSU is on it's way out, along with the motherboard (1st memory channel failed semi-recently.... it still "works" but it's a lot less stable) so I'll be buying an upgrade... I sincerely HOPE I can find some online indication of the amount and type of power cords that come with it. I ASSUME this is listed, but I have not looked. Do I really have to worry about the PSU not coming with the proper cords for a modern system? I would have imagined this was a big problem about a decade ago - it's incredibly sad (I assume it's cost-cutting...) that this is even a thing from power supply manufacturers, in 2023. PC gaming is just getting "Accessible" to the peasantry, but unexpected things like that sure put a lot of potential PC enthusiasts off - I almost don't blame them, it's one of the most frustrating experiences ever, to put down the money to build something like this, only to find out some part you wouldn't have thought of or assumed would be present, isn't - and that's to say nothing of the other trials of becoming PC literate! ...that said, I still will never go back.

Thank you, switches in back in mine not worked since briught 6months ago, though not been a prob until this morning, using front switches both rear would go down but wouldn't go up, did that on all switches now working perfect - thanks again

Had a friend to print this out at 98% had to trim the lower part of turbine too, but now works thanks

Hello, I have 6x2 pins from psu but my gpu uses 1x 6pins and 1x8 pin. Can I use an adapter from 1x 6 pins to 8 pins for gpu? Will my pc be safe?

Yes very common, my turbo head for animals and the head you have both suffer with same problem, shame dyson dont supply a part. I'll see if i can find someone to print a part for me

Thank you for a very helpful video. Do you know how to remove the plastic housing from the axle that holds the brushes? I have removed the metal fittings which grip the brushes (they can be tapped gently with a hammer). The plastic housing contains bearings on springs but will not slide off the axle. Those bearings need cleaning in mine, I can hear them grinding. Any help, much appreciated.
