I feel bad for my team as well... I feel worse for myself tho, I need a lot of improvements... but it's mainly mental health improvements cause when I read these comments I cry a lot and try to commit suicide 😢

there are two things to take into detail, I have a wide screen which does not transalte well when you watch a video on youtube unless you have the same screen. secondly, I'm used to it by now, I decided I wanted a bigger FOV in order to catch incoming enemies more easily and kept to that decision... couple of weeks ago I did reduce it JUST a bit to be honest!

So I've heard! But it's all buggy on the other side. I haven't had much time to play or test it at all due to work but soon...

This is my hot take on it, make it what you will. I think the game is TOO EASY - one problem, team work. If the team is good, Auric Maelstorms (the hardest difficulty) feel like eating chocolate cake and everyone has a laugh at some point. If the team is not playing together, then you're into the most horrible pain that can be subjected upon you and you waste time... it's horrible, people clash, flame and grief other players... Thankfully, I think as of now we are at a 50/50 in terms of good/bad players. Most people only play higher difficulties for the resources, some do it for the challenge. I love the themes and style and some of the character interactions... but then I remind myself of Vermintide 2 and stop playing Darktide for days...

I might have a strong opinion, and I believe people should have the freedom to experiment... but this is Fatshark making, they want a team game but they don't give the people tools to enforce such gameplay. I'm assuming I got lucky regarding trappers and dogs, but this is not the first time I play with Shoutie and I have seen him doing the same... always on the same (easiest) level out there...

@gremvy9854 right and that’s absolutely fine except the longer you’re in the mission the more the battle Ai throws at you, so the longer you take, the more fucked you are, so play lower difficulty, if everyone is map rushing, no one is a mile ahead

I have been having fun with other games... it's really fucking sad, Darktide is amazing but it has zero nurturing... if anything, my words to you are "come back with an healthy mindset and remember things are always changing" - I have no faith in this game, but I will never lose hope...

the thing that really gets me is that these players are well versed into the community and know for a fact that they can download a mod that allows them to play the game as a single player... but instead they do it on pubs in order to use other players as fodder... I do it myself when it comes to a "last resort" moment but it will always promote team play over greed play

and this is why the game is failling at base levels... there's no team play whatsoever... and there is nothing to promote you for playing good or playing as a team...

​​@@joaogodinho8840 Much as I loved the skill tree changes in P13 I think it might have gotten worse afterwards. Especially with zealot mains. I like to be far enough ahead to pull aggro from gunners and disablers so the team can move up more quickly. Also to find loot for everyone since zealot has a lot of movement speed in the tree. (Edit: basically scout/medic when needed) That said, I still see a bunch running off into the sunset only to die a couple minutes later when a trapper net nails them next to 3 ragers and a crusher.

Yes, 100%, but I would argue most weapons with specific utility (plasma and crusher come to mind) require the team to be in tune to achieve maximum results and such is barely possible in PUG. If you end up watching some of my videos you see a lot of revolver gameplay because it's a greedy gameplay. I practice on solo mode and end up struggling with any other build because it requires team consistency. The game is amazing but for some reason most players just refuse to work as a team. Most matches where the team communicates through comms end up in victory - almost a social experiment but surreal to experience Thanks for the comment! It is appreciated

it was on the cosmetic shop. it's fairly cheap and I think it was a best-seller so it will prob show up again soon. store resets every two weeks. it's quite cheap compared to some of the other things they do as well so i highly recommend it if you are an enjoyer. ... now to wait for a patch where they'll make trappers stop shooting nets through walls...

thanks! using OBS to record stuff... regarding the game, I can see fatshark adding extra game modes at some point, like Chaos Wastes from Vermintide 2... But in all honesty, I love the banter and the dialogue between all characters so in terms of fluff, I am very satisfied!... Just hope they fix that goddamn trapper shooting his net through walls lol
