I appreciate the efforts of OT8 to try and cover Jessica's parts but it just looks something's missing. Here they left her space open in both the "do you wanna be my lover?" Pre-chorus and the ending pose where Jessica was at the center. As I said, I appreciate the efforts of OT8 and is nice to see the Dance line receiving some of her lines but it isn't the same. Maybe because this and all of OT9 songs where structured to be divided into 9 people (even though we know Hyo barely sings) and most of its parts are like 3/3/3 or 4/5 (idk if I'm making sense) it looks like something's missing, which doesn't happen on OT8/post Jessica's leave songs. For example Holiday and Party are divided so 2 quartets sing the chorus, and in their new album, almost every single one of them sings the chorus in Closer. I'm not gonna talk about Forever 1 since for me that song is also structured as 9, (the part "girls, we're forever, it's now or never, yeah, we're forever" is divided into each single one of them but Yuri's the only one with 2 lines, so that would be Jessica's line). The point of this is, I appreciate these 9 girls a lot even though one of them isn't there anymore, but I enjoy the songs she was in as she's still there, and also enjoy the songs she isn't as songs released by a group of 8 members like they are now.
