On March 1st, 2018, the Foreseeable Future Foundation hosted it's first annual gala. The Foreseeable Future Foundation is a non-profit organization in NYC that hopes to enable the visually impaired through sport and recreation.

I hav RP going through things with my vision right now my eyes are getting more blury
I’m basically blind, and I’m concerned that God 12 means to be a commercial, airline pilot, blind people can do anything, it’s the government to hold us back.
You are amazing! I’m too scared to run outside and I don’t know how I can find a guide runner. So, I just use a treadmill…😭
I have RP also. Luckily I still have reasonably good central vision.

@@richardmiller3998 I have retinopathy of prematurely (ROP) I have vision only in my right eye (20/320 visual acuity) The condition is not progressive as such and is stable since childhood. If you want to have a conversation we can chat!

Right off the rip I’m seeing something missing from this foundation but I’ll do more research.

You are fortunate to be able to get out and about :) I have figured out much by myself. A shut-in, now not much for me. Listen to books. Listening to tv is frustrating. My iPad is about as close as width of my hand, but I do enjoy utube !

Amen. I am visually impaired as well. I am completely blind in my left eye. I have low, central vision in my right eye and no depth-perception. Because of my visual disability, I am unable to drive, play contact sports, see movies in 3D, or see well in the dark.
@@ClarkElDorado hey there I've got gyrate atrophy and I'm blind in my right eye but left eye is fine with 20/50 visual acuity but my doctor says my visual field is low but i still drive and see much in the dark whereever there is little light! Can i legally drive in the states with my condition?
This is really great!! I am visually impaired and I believe that we can totally do so much more than what everybody thinks we can. There's always a way. Great information and I think your organization is great too. 👍
