man the dragon fight is such a nightmare on alpha. gamma usually goes well, beta is a pretty big step up and alpha just sucks. the last time I did the island boss fights, the alpha dragon wiped my tames and I BARELY got the last shot off on it before dying myself. got the engrams but not the element or the trophy. which meant I had to go.. do the fight again... instead, I just went in and force killed it, because " I friggin' earned it., and the game screwed me out of it the first time". I had to recreate and relevel all those tames again, but that was gonna take the better part of a week, and I don't want to wait that long just for that fight.

Have you tried setting the piromane on aggressive and on the special attack will on your shoulder so there are no distractions on the air?

Tame a couple Dimorphodons. Once you have half dozen imprinted babies have them follow a "guard (passive) " dino but set the dimorph's to aggressive and harvesting. You just turned those seagulls into a auto-meat supply. If you have troglodytes on those islands, you also just made a silica/bp & chitin farm as well. Add a couple monkies (passive flee) on wander as well as a doed or two and you have a full food farm running on one little safe island. the autostone will not hurt either.

Oh, for the spawn thing, it's on scorch. it's just super rare spawn in the mod and ceratos spawned on scorch in the modded version and they kept the spawns the same, so it's probably going to be the same in the base game, and the creatures aren't going to get anything that garuga doesn't agree with, so wildcard have to get his approval and garuga has already prepared his creature's for the base game with slight balance adjustments so how they are right now should be how they are going to be in base game
