we literally almost have the same set up...airraid cai, stock throttle/manifold, x force LT headers, just put on some 47 # injectors, and I do have a rough idle/hesitation at times...not sure if the CAI is to blame...

Yea I just did mine last night, cut the bottom of the provided bracket off and one hole through the bracket and through the prinsu.

The intake will work with your stock vehicle and no tune is necessary.

+RVXTV Diablosport may have a tune available specifically for our intake but you would need to check with them. Most ZL1 owners opt for a custom tune to work with our intake plus other modifications.

+JPickettIII Yes, except for the intake the vehicle is otherwise completely stock.

yfztwJustin Gonzalez No. If it says "Do Not Oil" on the end cap, then it is a dry filter and does not require oil. If it simply has the AIRAID logo and nothing else, then it is an oiled filter and DOES require re-oiling after service. Hope this helps.

The red oiled and dry filters are 50-state legal, but the blue and black ones are not at this time. Kirt Zalucha Great question! For some reason the dyno sheet doesn't have a key, which we've made a note to fix. The blue run file represents stock, the green file represents the best run we had, and the red (most important) is average gains over several runs. Hope this helps.

Martin M. Ortiz The sound from this intake won't be quite as aggressive as what you had on your '14 for a couple of reasons. Some of it may have to do with the sealed box design rather than an open box like our intakes for the previous generation Mustang. But the biggest thing is the EcoBoost engine; because it's turbocharged, it's going to sound very different than the n/a V-6 that you had in your last Mustang. It still has a bit of a growl and the wastegate is more audible, but by the nature of the engine it's going to be quieter than the 3.7L. We hope this helps.

The box should line up just fine with the existing mounting locations on the fender, but you will likely need to adjust the couplers that connect the intake tube to the airbox and throttle body slightly. There should be enough "play" in the couplers to compensate for the slightly different intake box height in relation to the engine.
