The SK-1 and SK-10 have those mic inputs, you could potentially override that using this same trick. I'm not sure what the resistance differences would be for line level vs that cheapo mic. the switch circuit is probably almost identical to this project.

Assuming the midi cabling is all good to go, are you able to put the TD3 after the wavestate to see if MIDI thru is working? I actually have my wavestate currently on usb midi, i’ll try to recreate this situation with 5pin.

@ For example, with synthesizers like TD3, we can create a sequence of sounds, and when we start, it will play this sequence. But for Wavestate, it doesn't have a start key, or in other words, every key is a start key. I think perhaps only by mapping the START KEY of the drum machine to a specific key of Wavestate (such as C4 or others), can the drum machine start playing, and Wavestate can automatically start playing the pre mapped key.

Hey @edcosico! I can play synth,guitar, bass, drums, general percussion, and some random exotics. I cannot play violin or banjo, i’ve tried and failed

Not entirely analog, main voices are. Theres a cool feedback loop between microcosm and valhalla shimmer that creates a brassy pad. I also have a synthetic voice in there somewhere.
