Quite. If you threw them into a hypothetical fight like happens on the Internet and took off the kid gloves, it would be scary. At least in part because it would catch so many potential opponents completely off guard. Like, would you expect someone who looks like Nanoha to have that level of sheer explosive firepower? Even in a nonlethal she would be devastating for that reason. She's cute as a button, but when she wants to, she hits like say, a dinosaur killing meteor.

I think what she said is that she is only gonna use magic to deal damage to her or pure magical energy. I believe there was an explanation of the types of magic they can use and how much damage it can do whether it is gonna be physical or magical. For this instance she is only using pure magic unlike the time where she hit that chick with Divine Buster Blaster 3 variation which managed to break like all the bloody walls and barriers in the ship. As you can see here after she finishes her attack there is not that much damage done to the floor where Vivio is if you watch the episode just a small hole done by the initial attack and we all know the full power of the starlight breaker it can probably erase the ship out of existence.

It's kinda hard to explain. Vivio is basically an artificially created, living vessel, who's actual purpose of life is to re-awaken some sort of ancient magic and collect magic data from others so she can destroy her enemies immediately. However, through her kindness, Nanoha forged a strong, motherly bond with Vivio and gave her the strength to choose being a daughter over being a weapon. And no. Nanoha doesnt apologize. But personally, I don't think you need to apologize when you gave a warning
Again, this is simply a fantasy world. Nothing of what's happening in MGLN is reality. If you have a personal aversion against children not being treated like children, even when it's not even real, then I don't know why you're even commenting here. Has nobody ever taught you to just keep your mouth shut if you have nothing kind to say? It is what it is. The anime won't change just cause you don't like it.
Nanoha never hurt Vivio during their fight. What she did was take her down with magical damage, not with physical one. Only this last Starlight Breaker was one, that actually did some harm, because it took down Vivio in one blow. But Nanoha warned Vivio that this might hurt and moreover, Vivio ALLOWED the attack. She's an ancient Saint King. Those binds were nothing to her (notice how she subconsciously breaks them as Nanoha prepares?) Vivio WANTED to get hit and she knew the consequences.

This is simply the fantasy world it plays in. If you can't distinguish the reality from fiction, then that's your problem, not ours and not that of the creators. n.n Also, let me enlighten you on the befriending thing: It's a meme that came to life through the observation, that a lot of people become friends with Nanoha after having been decisively defeated by her. This wasn't intended by the creators. And it doesn't mean that Nanoha is a sicko, who beats up people as a method to make friends.

I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS, this version of Starlight Breaker is one of the most OVERKILL magical blast moves ever performed, if Nanoha wasn't trying to save her YOU BET YOUR ASS, VIVIO WOULD BE HORRENDOUSLY DEAD RIGHT NOW!!!!!

In any manga or anime ，most of the magic only inflict pain to ppl and damage to object
To further my point, anyone will agree that pain=/=damages, however pain is the result of being damaged. You cannot have pain without first being damagde. Either can be mental or physical in nature so the threat of violence can cause mental anguish even if no physical violence ever occurs. So far you have not demonstrated that Starlight Breaker causes mental pain/anguish. The only evidence is that Vivio makes some noises. Maybe that is the result of mental pain/anugish and maybe not.
You are making two mistakes. 1) Failng to understand my argument. I didn't say that magic does not cause damage and therefore pain, what I said was that Starlight Breaker causes no damage. 2) Your position is tenuous. Starlight Breaker causes no physical damage, this is uncontestable. The only thing up for argument is whether Starlight Breakers befriending power causes mental pain/anguish when it rewrites or fixes the target's mental processes to force them to be friends with Nanoha.
Starlight Breaker doesn't do any of that, it is simply a giant laser at the opponent.
Actually there is zero evidence that Starlight Breaker inflicts any type of physical harm and quite a bit of evidence that it inflicts no harm at all. For instance Fate took unprotected hit from Starlight Breaker and her clothes didn't even get ripped a little even though her clothes had previously been ripped to shreds by Nanoha's Divine Buster when there was a shield between Fate and Nanoha's Divine Buster. Reinforces colossal Starlight Breaker did not damage even a single building.
