This song is used as the intro music in the new (as of november 2020) Norwegian tv-series 'Atlantic Crossing', which is why I came back to it here. Such a great song, and a good series. It's about the occupation of Norway during WW2 when the Crown Princess of Norway went to the USA and stayed with President Roosevelt, in short... Anyway, great song!

I genuinely thought he only sung the song like this during live performances (since those were the only times I’ve heard it this way) so I’m glad to find out there’s an actual recorded version! I like it more when he sings it like this, it just feels more expressive, and suits the song more.
