Lost Coast Backpacking Trip 2017: Discovering the terrains--Sand, Rocks and trails
Просмотров 357 лет назад
I created this video with because before the trip I wasn't clear on exactly what the terrain would be. We did the whole trip in 2 days, 16 miles the first day 8 days the second day. We averaged 2.5 mph for the entire section, where the rocky were 2 mph and the compact sand/trail sections were ~3 mph. There were plenty of streams to collect water, bear prints (but no bears) and just a handful of...

Proof of Concept: Suction Page Grabber
I want one built for me, I am no engineer. What can I do to get my hands on one ?
What's the cost of this?!
how does it work
the fan creates an suction on the page and the ruler turns the page
A bit off topic, but I'm trying to remove the rails from my 2007 mini cooper s. I see 4 bolts, but the heads are smooth and the nuts are round. :/
This was very helpful, thanks for the video. I managed to remove only the two rear seat rail bolts and bend the seat far enough forward to get a pry bar under the rail and push in the sticking pin.
Nice, I will try and implement this into a book scanner so that it becomes fully automatic.
Hey man I have a very similar project and I realized this is the exact same mechanism i had in mind is there any possibility you can send me the back of it or just some details on howe you designed and the use of a fan?
Hello, excuse me do you have the name of the book from where you took the mechanism, the machine book you mentioned in other comment
engineeringstudymaterial.net/ebook/design-of-machinery-ab-introduction-to-synthesis-and-analysis-of-mechanisms/ Look under the section where it talks about 4 bar mechanisms. We added a few bells and whistles to it. The rocker arm that carries the fan actually rides on a cam, that let's the fan move in the z direction (out of the page).
thank you very much :)
Nice job guys. Useful for understanding and repairing. Thanks !
Hello, do you have any academic support? any document?
We did this as a class project a few years back. I have the presentation you gave to the class. I'm having issues finding the drawings though. Is there anything I can help you with?
oh god, thanks markguatube for your very fast answer. I just wanted to know about the design parameters, you know, questions like: why a fan?, what are the previous studies about other page turner systems? why did you do that project?, it solved any problem?, there are any math support? Thank you. The previous questios are just to take important references and citation because i really liked your proyect. Im sorry about my poor english :/
The fan was the only way to insure that we only got one page at a time. We used a 4 bar Grashof mechanism. It's detailed in a design of machine book. It was a class project. It solved the issue for musicians who don't want to take there hands off their instrument when playing. I mean there is some math to find the range of motion of the parts, but it was pretty experimental.
Thanks, man. Very usefull for me.
Hi... Was interested in this Prototype. Can you share the drawings you had of this? It would be great help for me for my project.
This video would have been REALLY helpful if it was in focus.
I have the same issue as Kym but also wasn't clear on the fix? did you bend the fork back or do something else?
I don't think I am clear on what the fix is. I understood the video but I did not hear how to fix it.
How does this have 347 views?
My front passenger seat is all the way to the back and stuck. I can't get to the back screws to remove the seat. Please help...
Kym howard If I understand you correctly, you have just the opposite problem I did. Did you have any luck removing the front screws, using a crow bar to lift the bar enough to get your hand to disengage the pauls, then slide the seat forward?
Taking a chance an a response. I have same issue but mine is stuck in middle somewhat so can’t get to either front or back bolt. Now what?
Hi, I'm working on a similar project, although using furuta swing-up strategy and cascade PID for stabilization. I'm having problems with the stabilization control "catching" the pendulum after the swing-up brings it to the control zone (+-25º) and the "angle zero" gets lost, I see in your video that the pendulum even after several turns still is able to be stabilized, how do you do that? do you use some logic to reset the encoder that measures pendulum angle? and if so, how do you do it? Any help would be appreciated.
GeankDOORS All of our info should be in this folder. drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5-uklijO9PFd0IwcVVkN1BxY3M&usp=sharing hope it helps.
GeankDOORS And yes we did have to use logic to rest the encoder, however I don't have the labview code anymore :/
This song sucks!
